Be MY Guest and read this review!

Oh LAWD, now I'm really ready for Nov to get here! We have a group of 6 but couldn't get any dinner times together when booking our 180+10 ADR's so we split up in to groups of 2. I don't care how we have to sit I just really want inside BOG.

Thank you for this awesome review, ahhh that stained glass in your photo.

Again you better post photos when you get back! I'm dieing to now what you think when you go too - I expect the same stained glass photo!

Thanks for the review! We're going in November and I am really hoping to get a 6:00 ADR before MVMCP (another of your theads I love BTW)!

Were you happy sitting in the ballroom ? Did you take a peek at the West Wing? The ballroom looks gorgeous but from what I read the West Wing has some neat effects that happen throughout the meal.

I remember reading somewhere that the French Onion Soup had a vegetable broth base as opposed to beef or chicken.

Yep! Same with the potato leek. Both fabulously vegetarian. The PL is very very good, and while I'm not a FO fan, DH (who has tasted gourmet-level FO soup around the world) says it's THE best he's tasted. Guess when you're not cheating with beef stock you can really get the onions to come out and play! :)

Thanks for sharing! I am so excited about our trip in August and glad that we were able to get a dinner reservation. The Cheesecake cupcake looks delish!

It was very very good again this is probably THE appetizer to order!

NOTE: Eatery has different food themes than usually found in a park. Though not in the
"signature" eatery quality, food is usually tasty. Unfortunately, the taste comes from the
sauce and high sodium levels, and not the underlying food base. Lunch is QS, no ADR-res;
dinner is TS and ressies are highly advised. Atmosphere is very well done and probably the
most fancy and most themed of any WDW eatery. As a QS eatery it is one of the best, as
a TS eatery it is average. Overall: great atmosphere, only average food quality. As a side,
the "Grey Stuff" is now a purchased menu item. (Used to be free, but it seemed like EVERYONE
had a "special occasion" and wanted it for free.)

@TheRustyScupper - I can't believe the staff wasn't friendly and attentive to you - I must have been clearly lucky that I got the server that I got. I'll agree with you about the selection as well, I would have like more menu items for diner as I am very picky and only eat certain things. Also, yes I too paid for My Gray Stfuf, however got my cupcake for free once she knew it was my engagement!

It's nice to have your view too Rusty!

We snagged lunch here for our MK day and I am pretty excited! I do wish they had that puff pastry thing on the lunch menu, but the desserts all look fantastic.

How was the steak? We have 2 dinner reservations here for our Aug/Sept trip, so will have to find 2 dinners that we like. I heard the desserts were great, can't wait.

You got a pic with Beast! I love him and hope to get a pic with him in December. It will be my first trip to Disney and had to veto my brother. He was just ehh about BOG. What does the blue tag on the waitress mean? I really enjoyed your review and pics. Congratulations!

Thanks for your review. I snagged my BOG ADR at the 180-day mark and I am looking forward to dinner here. (in addition to Jedi Mickey and 1900 Fare, plus breakfast at CRT, Chef Mickey's, and Akershus). I will definitely have the steak now after reading what your DH thought. I have heard similar "Meh" about the Grey Stuff. I am a chocoholic but not a fan of rock hard cookies. I hope to eat in the ballroom but being a single diner may be in the West Wing or Music Box room. Is the Beast always there for dinner? I think I read somewhere this isn't always the case? Love French Onion soup I will order that! Reading your reports are helping me count down the days.

Apparenlty they say that "just in case" but the Beast is always there for diner - he actually walks accross the various dining halls too - it's really cool. Please, I know the gray stuff you want it becuase it goes with the theme...but that Strawberry Cheesecake cupcake...yum yum.

Cliff I want your review when YOU come back, make sure you don't forget buddy!

Listen
Again I know I keep saying this but please come back and tell me what you thought, and how your time went. I'm not a creep I swear, but I love looking at photos of people having a good time, it makes me happy.

Listen, I love hearing about other people's good times and demand photos from anyone who wants to share. If that makes me a creep....

We have 3 lunch ADRs and hoping to trade one out for breakfast if it gets extended.

Thanks for the review. Amazingly today I was able to snag an ADR for four on Monday 5/25. My lucky day I guess! I have always wanted to eat dinner at BOG but never had ADRs before. I was trying to decide between the lamb and the steak. Your review helped me decide, Steak it shall be!

Thanks for your review. I wasn't planning on eating at BOG for our November trip, I thought I'd give it a try if I was able to snag a lunch ressie but I didn't want to be disappointed so I hadn't planned on it. Well today I got a lunch reservation and now I'm just super excited. This review has just upped my excitement level.
