Feel better?
My DS was the only member of the football team (the seniors), THE ONLY ONE to actually pursue some sort of higher education.
There were only about 50 out of his entire class that had plans to pursue some sort of either trade school or college post high school graduation. The demographic of his high school was very mixed with many kids coming from parents with backgrounds in gaming, manufacturing and distribution. There is absolutely nothing wrong with any of those career paths but the mentality was not focused on the pursuit of higher training/education.
Its not hard to figure out who did what. Sure, some may pursue something later in life but as of now, the majority of them did not, his Christmas card list is actually quite short.
I realize many define success differently but when I read the question, my immediate thought of response revolved around education/career paths and therefore, so did my response.
