Now before I start, I'd like to clear the air, and point out that winners have been chosen, so this is NOT a should this have won judgement. It didn't, so that answer has already been given by staff.

I am, however, looking for Dis reviews on this ride. I have nothing to prove as we all seen what the ride has done already, list wise. But I'd like to share with you all these pics, as most of you probably bypassed my efforts in annoyance of.. well.. me.

-Air Lock Training Center-
SR1.jpg

Space Racers board into the air lock tunnel and then become subjected to depressurization (sp?) in preparations for the zero gravity training ground. In the training compound, Space Racers learn how to unlock a specialized space door, or they can click two hidden switches to bypass the door and training completely! Once accessed, Space Racers are then carried up into space for their missions.

-Gravitational Deception-
SR2.jpg

In this part of space, Space Racers are pulled down to this lunar surface and need to click which exit door they think is in the room over and over in order to save fuel (and quest time). Clicking the only the switch on the room will trap you into a lunar orbit, and you will go around the room again! Don't be decieved!

-Dangerous Conditions-
SR3.jpg

In the final section of this ride, Space Racers need to access two locked doors while shooting back up into space. Clicking the doors too soon will cause them to lock by the time you get to them, so patience and skill are required to pass through both doors. If the quest was activated, it would be completed once the second door was passed.

And there it is! It has since been demolished, and looking back, I wish I never used the astro orbiters. I was going for luxury there. :rolleyes1

My theme I went for was a decent Space Mountain replica, with track supports being completely black and nothing else hindering that. But again, those darn orbiters were a mistake!

Judge kindly gang lol! popcorn::

Pretty cool. The door part might have been challenging but it would have been fun.

It gave me trouble every time lol. :confused3

I voted "So So" but I'm going to tell you why. After all, you can't get better without feedback, right? Please don't get mad at me. I'm only offering you my opinion to be helpful. :sunny:

I see the theme and idea you were shooting for, but the titles and rooms don't really match. I think using different items like asteroid couches or space stuff and say it's debris would have been better. The orbiter things everywhere make it look cluttered more than anything.

The other thing I didn't really like were the teleporters being so close together. One to the next, to the next, if they go to other parts, maybe that would work out ok while riding, but at a first hand glance, it looks redundant. Especially because the same idea (orbiters and teleporters) was used in all 3 rooms. I know it was supposed to be a training center which got more difficult as you moved on, but seeing different ideas along the way would have been better. Remember to always keep the rider guessing and wondering what will be next. Keep them hooked. :goodvibes

I think the ride construction is amazing. There are just a bit too many astro orbiters in there for me to say it "owns".

I actually tried to do this ride. I didn't like your four poll choices - I thought it was great looking and intriguiing but I have a LOT of trouble with switches and stuff and it was just too complex for me - I never got out of the second room!!! And finally I just quit. so i voted "so so" but really I thought it was okay but too hard to be accessible to many VMK players.

Lol.. nah I wont get mad, I knew what I was potentially getting into by doing this, and the feedback is appreciated.

Yup. I used the orbiters as track blocks to keep riders on the ride as well. I'm now wishing I'd of just carpeted the room in black risers. BAM.. problem solved.. and no junk look and peeps aint going nowheres!

Those porters lined up like that gave a "tunnel" traveling effect that I liked more than anything about my ride.

I agree. I voted "It's cool".

I voted so so. Its too busy and was kinda difficult and time consuming.

My whole intent was to run a quest through it. It's cool to have peeps come by and say it was neat and be on there way. It's COMPLETELY AWESOME to have the same peeps come back and announce it too.. "I'm back lol".

The "busy" part was also intent, for example when the team let me lead during the slide event, I had rooms go in uniform:

I wanted to avoid that this time and go completely freestyle.

LOL.. you should have click that switch back, it put you in a "gravitational pull" whee! My bad? If it helps, I never had a clean ride through the sucker.
