THIS IS ONLY MY SECOND POST, MOST TIME I just read all the posts, my family and I will be in WDW the week of thanksgiving, we'll be staying at BCV, a few questions, what studio is located not too far from the buses, but is not in a noisy area, (ie near the pool, the front desk) If you want to go to epcot how do you get there in the morning when world showcase isn't open and there are no buses from BCV, what's the fastest and shortest way? thanks in advance
If you can get a room in the wing that is closest to the self parking area for the BCV, you can go out that door at the end of the wing. It is the closest walk to the busses from that area. The closer you are to the parking area, the closer you will be to the busses. Looking at a map it doesn't seem close to the busses because it is farthest from the BC itself.
Walk, It is not that far and a go way to going the morning. My DW,3DS do it for all the parks, except animal kingdom. We take the monorail for WDW. By doing this, exceptionally at night you avoid the crowds.
If you request a room close to the Beach Club and get one, you will be as close as you can get. Some of these are quiet pool views. I think all views are rather quiet for the most part. There are no rooms near the front desk.
Some pool view rooms are at the end of the resort and the furthest from the bus stop.
But honestly, none are that far away. I have walked further to the bus at OKW. And that would be in the rain - at BC you can walk covered the whole way!
To get to the WS entrance, you can walk thru the lobby and out - go straight or diagonally into the BC and then walk to the lobby and out the back. Take a left to walk along the lake.
You could also take a left just before going into the BC and walk along the wooded path next to the BC. You will come out on the lake walkway a little beyond where you would the other way.
105,106 are the closest studios to the bus stop and also to the BC lobby. 205 and 206 are good choices also if you don't mind walking down 1 flight of stairs. Other good choices would be 221 (courtyard view)and 222 (epcot view) would also be good as they are close to main elevators as are 225, 227 (epcot view) and 228 (quiet pool view). Same numbers would apply to the 3rd and 4th floors. Personally I don't like the the first floor but 105 and 106 wouldn't be bad because they're not to close to any pathways.
I always make my requests by specific room numbers and have had very good luck getting them.
