BCV-Which room to request

LOL, the one you get!

Seriously, requesting a specific room is futile, since there is no way to know if that room is available when you check in. Better to request an area, floor or view.

No, really! I've read on these boards about folks doing this all the time and thought I'd try it too. Ok then, which area, floor or view is the best to request at the BCV? Guess I need to go back being happy I'm there. Last trip, all I wanted was a no smoking and couldn't even get that! At least I don't show up at 7am to check in to get 'the perfect room', I'm the opposite, due to living on the West Coast, check in at 530-6 and get the dregs, cast offs, left overs.............

check in a WDW resort that first night then change over.

the views are parking lot, swimming pool, stream, pond, woods.

the epcot views are mostly woods. You can always ask for the road view....

high as possible.

Just remember that BCV is a small resort from the DVC standpoint, so being more specific will probably not be as successful as being less specific. What you request depends on what you like in terms of view, convenience etc. What is a plus for me might be a negetive for you.

Did you check out the room reports here on the DIS? There is a category on there for view -- perhaps this can help you decide which room is best for you and your family.

When we stayed at BCV, we had a ground level view of the courtyard -- right behind the Ariel statue. I loved that location!!! -- and it was so close to the quiet pool.

GOOD LUCK!
