With BOMA reservations one night, how do you suggest we travel from BCV to Animal Kingdom Lodge? We enjoy the buses, but don't mind taking the car when it's more convenient. Any ideas?

I'd arrange it so that you head to dinner straight from the theme park you're visiting that day. Heading back to BCV after dinner, I'd take a bus to D-MGM (assuming it is open that late), and then switch to the bus to BCV (or walk back from D-MGM).

With late dinner reservations I guess the gamble is that the buses would still be running to the parks. Maybe the car for this one...

There is no bus from the Studios to BCV. There is a boat but it doesn't run too long after the Studios close.

I would drive. But if you wanted to do the buses, I would catch a bus to MK before I would do the DTD bus again assuming the MK is still open. If AK happens to have Extra Magic Evening hours the night you are dining, I would catch whichever came sooner....MK or AK. the AK bus transfer would be a shorter ride but not necessarily shorter in time.

You could also take the bus to Epcot and walk through if admission isn't a problem for you and it is early enough.

If you are traveling from the BCV to AKL, my advice is to drive. There really isn't any efficient transportation between resorts. If you drive, your trip will be about 10 minutes. If you use Disney transportation, you can plan on at least an hour.

When we have a car, we always drive to the AK, DD and the resorts.

Best wishes -

The car is much more convenient when traveling from resort to resort. From BCV to AKL will be about a 15 minute drive. By bus you'd have to go to a park first (take the AK bus from BC) and then get the AKL bus from there. Figure 45 minutes between the bus ride and the two wait times.

We do this every trip, as we LOVE Boma. Definately drive/taxi it. It is well worth it for the start of a relaxing evening!

The Taxi fare from BWV (assume same as BCV) is $10 each way. FWIW Valet if driving is not free at AKL. So if you are a valet person (like me ;) ) then the cost of the taxi is not much more than driving. It is your call.
