Where are the studios located at BCV? Do they all have balconies? Is there more than one type of view available to request? I would love to here recommendations before making reservations. Thanks. :thewave:

They are located all over the resort and all have balconys.

We had a studio last year. We did have a balcony and our view was the quiet pool. It was a very nice. Sorry I can not remember the room number.

Is there a particularly good view? This is our first trip staying at BCV, staying in a studio.

Hi there,

Try room 416, studio straight across from the laundry and near the elevators. The view is of the pool. You are probably thinking the studio would be noisy but not so. We stayed in one for 10 days and it was great.

Room 540 studio was ok as a studio, but the view and noise were obnoxious. We thought it would be great for watching the Epcot fireworks, but no, you really had to crane your neck to be able to see them. We thought we would enjoy our morning breakfast out on the balcony, but it was so loud from the delivery trucks roaring by. I would prefer a quiet pool view.

how many views are their that we can request?
what are the names of the views?

i'm sure there is a "pool view".

i have read that "epcot view" has been replaced. (is iit now called "not pool view"?)

We didn't make a view request. When we checked in last Friday, we just said we'd like a nice view. :confused3 So she put us up on the 5th floor, after looking at quite a few rooms on the computer. We had room 527, with a view of the woods. :confused3 Honestly, we spent very little time in the room, and we were never there at night to see what we might see, like EPCOT fireworks. WE could see some structures above the trees, but we weren't sure what they were. We were only there for 4 nights, so we were always out seeing things in person. :)

Having always stayed at BWV before, it was nice to be close to the elevator. It was very quiet where we were. The first night, we heard a baby cry in the next room, and DH and I looked at each other like . But the baby quickly quieted down, and we never heard anything again.

Although they all have balconies, some balconies are bigger than others. One time I stayed in #461, which has a balcony about 3 times the normal size. It has a real nice view of Spaceship Earth and Illuminations. But for me, that road noise was far too distracting for me to sit on my balcony. However, I just returned from #305, a courtyard view, right over the entrance. It had no view of anything Epcot and you couldn't see the fireworks, but I loved it! Being right near the entrance, I could watch all the comings and goings, and most importantly, I could hear the Disney "bush music" from the nearby speaker. Sitting on my balcony with my morning coffee was just heavenly for me! Wish I was back there now! But "recommendations" depend on what kind of view you like.

Very true. Our first year at BWV, we had a canal view, and I LOVED sitting on the balcony watching the Friendships going back and forth to MGM. But DH is so hooked on that Boardwalk View.

This was a good room on the side of the road had a view of spaceship earth. We could see some of the fireworks if we were higher up we would of had a better view of fireworks. We enjoyed this room.

We had what was considered an EPCOT view. You could see the top of the "ball" and palm trees. We could see the fireworks from the balcony on the nights that we were not out on the bridge watching them. The kids got a kick out of seeing the fireworks from the balcony. During Hurricane Charlie it was scary to see the palm trees bending practically in half.
It was our first trip "Home" Can't wait to go back next year. We stayed at Old Key West earlier this month but I missed being a boat ride away from MGM and a short walk from EPCOT. You can't beat the BCV location.
ENJOY!!!! Be sure to go to Beaches and Cream!!!

On our first visit to the BCV, we had a 1BR pool view that over looked the quiet pool, and was close to the elevators. One cool thing about it was you could see the monorail go by every once in a while! That was our fav room! Can not remember the number, but it was on an upper floor, (4th?) and to the left once off elevators.

Since we have a youngster it is hard for her Dad and I to see any of the fireworks shows. She falls asleep pretty early. It would be a dream for us to be able to sit on our balcony at BCV and see the show. We are staying in a studio. If you don't mind- Can any one suggest rooms where that can happen.

Thanks a bunch

From #461, I did have a great view of the fireworks. And the balcony is extra large.

We were in a studio, dedicated, 2 weeks ago...240. It was right in the corner where it juts out toward the roadway. We did have a view of the fireworks. And we could see Spaceship Earth thru the trees. If we had been on a higher floor, it would have been a better view. There was a lot of traffic on the roadway...the buses could drive you crazy late at night, but we got used to them. I didn't think I was going to like the room, but we did.
