My kids do not sleep well together so we are bringing an air mattress with us next week. I am assuming that I need to bring my own sheets....what about a blanket and pillow? Can I get those from the Beach Club or do I need to bring them?

Thanks!
Jen

You might be able to get it from housekeeping, but I'd bring my own bedding - at least the sheets. Strictly speaking, I don't think DVC is supposed to supply bedding for non-DVC beds. We've called and gotten extra pillows for people sleeping on the pull out sofa, so getting an extra pillow might not be a problem. We've found an extra blanket stored in the closet in some of the villas we've had, but not in others. I wouldn't absolutely count on it.

Have a good trip!

Thanks! I will definitely bring our own bedding just to be on the safe side.

Don't worry about the blanket and pillow, they are right there in the closet. We've always brought an aero bed, stuck the sheets right there in with it, put it all in a rolling duffle no problem. Hey, are you coming from Boston too? We're leaving on Wednesday, the 16th!

Jenbeth-

I am going to do this for my trip in June, but I was thinking of buying one there since I am flying. Can you tell me about the air mattress you are using and where it was purchased? My kids can't sleep together either and it seems like the best solution (besides renting a 2BR, which I don't have enought points for). I was thinking about renting an owner's locker when we leave, if it will fit in there. Any adivce would be appreciated.

The airbed will definitely fit in a Owner's Locker. We have a double one and its electric pump stored along with what seems a million other things!! The bed was a tight fit in our BCV studio, but it squeezed in nicely right at the entryway.

We have a twin size aero bed. I honestly have no idea where it was purchased because we are borrowing it from friends. It comes in a bag and is quite small so I am sure it would fit in the owner's locker. We are going to bring sheets and a blanket and then just use one of the pillows from the room. It might be tight as we are staying in a studio, but if my kids get a good nights sleep it is worth it.

Yes....we are flying out of Logan on the 18th. This has been a long winter and we are ready for some sunshine. Thanks for the info on the aero bed. Enjoy your trip!!!

In case anyone is interested, Aerobed makes a children's bed. We just bought one for our DGD. It is 3 x 5 ft long and self-inflates. It folds up pretty small too. We use it for stay overs and will definitely take it when she travels with us.

Thanks for all the great info on the areo bed. I saw some on line that look pretty small when folded, so I think I will just buy it here and take it with me. I'll remember the sheets too. So looking forward to my first stay as a DVC owner. :lovestruc
