BCV reservations made! Location good?

I just made our reservations for March at the BCV and was surprised that what I wanted was available at less than 7 months out!

I still am not sure what I should have requested in terms of location, but I asked for something as close to the lobby as possible since the resort seems to be somewhat removed and we'd like to be close to SAB, etc.

Has anyone else ever made this type of request? What came of it? Were you happy?

well the deal is they have some rooms (5th floor) that face Epcot. So you can see the Epcot ball and the countries. The views are pretty cool. However, while you can see Illumination fireworks its nothing like being there because of the lack of music and view of the lazers and fire. But because it is so close to EPCOT its best to take the short walk and watch it from England or France (if you have hopper or AP passes).

I personally thought the 5th floor EPCOT rooms were great. Some people had a problem with noise from a road below but I had no problems.

We stayed there last March. I requested non-smoking, and a high up floor as I was worried about road noise. We got a great EPCOT view. I have to tell you that pretty much ALL of the villas are a long trek from SAB, but we did not find it too much of an inconvenience. I will be interested to see if they try to get you as close as possible to the main hotel.

With a request of "close to lobby" you will end up close to the main elevators which will either give you a pool view, courtyard view (area between Beach Club and Beach Club Villas) or a woods view (some of these have a view of Epcot).

Just got back from BCV a few days ago. We requested non-smoking, non-handicapped, quiet location, 2-bedroom lockoff. All of our requests were met. We got a second floor suite (243-245, if memory serves) facing the "woodlands." We loved it.

By the way, the room was immaculate and well-maintained, except for very minor dings on the dining table.
