Just returned from a 7 day visit to WDW with DH and DS (3). While we had a terrific time, especially enjoying FW, we did have an issue with the room. I know folks are weary of complaints about this resort, but it is disappointing to have problems with things that should be working properly as a matter of course. Over the course of two days mid-trip we had absolutely no hot water. On the first day, we had hoped for late afternoon showers after swimming and before dinner. When there was no water, we called maintainance and the front desk, imagining that all would be well by the a.m. The next morning we had the same problem...no water out of any hot water taps. The staff we talked to seemed largely unconcerned. This was disturbing as at one point, we were informed that the hot water was out in the entire Villa complex!
We are not complainers at all; we love our trips to Disney and have had generally terrific service. I just can't imagine why it is so difficult for Disney to maintain normal service at such a supposedly 4 star resort. We've also had significant problems with housekeeping at BCV on past trips.
Although we own at BCV, we have had much better experiences at VWL and OKW, as well as HH. Given that we have small ones, the pool at BCV will likely trump other considerations for awhile.
