We just returned from a wonderful stay at the BCV’s. It was our first time staying there and it was perfect! We rented points from an owner and will likely go the same route again. When we arrived we were greeted by about 4 valet’s all wanting to help out. The check-in desk was great! We were the only people checking in at the time. We had reserved a non-smoking, high level, pool view & that is just what they had for us – and it was ready at 1:30! I had to be difficult. I asked if they had any Epcot views available. They checked and there were a few – but none were ready right away. We said we were more then willing to wait. We walked over to Epcot to see Snow White while they cleaned our room. It was ready by 3:15. The people at the front desk were nothing but nice despite our sudden wishy-washy mind change

When we went to our room we were so happy! We had room 461. It had a great view of Epcot and a HUGE balcony. When dd (3) got into the room she ran to the balcony, jumped up shouting “I can see Snow White’s Castle!!!!!” It was truly a magical moment – we all had tears in our eyes. :wizard:

There were 3 adults and one 3 yr. old in our group (myself, my mom & dad & dd). The studio was very small but worked for 4 nights – any more time we probably would have gone nuts being so tight. We spent very little time in our room – we never even returned during the day – all we did was sleep in it. The size of the studio was my only disappointment. The last 2 years we stayed at the Dolphin and the rooms were much more spacious. The pullout was o.k. for 1 adult – I feel it would be uncomfortable for 2 adults. There was a pack-n-play already in the room for dd.

We enjoyed SAB on our last day. After checking out we went for a dip. The locker room facilities were great – allowing us to shower and get dressed after checkout time. We LOVED Big River Brewing. :drinking1 Check out their Holiday Porter *yummy!!!* :drinking1

The gal who checked us in saw us the next day at the bus stop. She actually remembered us and chased us down – asking us if we liked the room. The entire staff was so very friendly and very “Disney Like”. We received so may “Welcome Home’s” it almost became humorous! We were treated just like members – and it made us feel very special. Having DVC treat “guests” of members this well really improves the value of a Vacation Club investment. Makes us want to be part of the club!

Next year dh will be able to join us so we will be looking to rent 2 studios. My Mom only wants to stay at BCV from now on. I think I might try to get a BW view studio – just to try something different. We will definitely rent again. Generally we only need 68 points / year – so owning is not the best choice for us. We are grateful to the wonderful owner who rented to us and helped make one of the best vacations ever!

Any questions? I’d be happy to help
:cheer2:

Ooops... I forgot to ask...
Are the Studio's supposed to have a VCR in them? Our's did not - when checking out I asked the person at the desk & they did not know. I thought they did - but I might be wrong? :scratchin

I just switched my BWV studio for a studio at BC in June!!! I can't wait to try BC out. Thanks for the report. Just made me even more excited.

Glad you had such a great trip and stay at the BCV. I'll be there the 17th-20th and am looking forward to it!!!

Glad you enjoyed one of our "homes" BCV!!! We love it too! Boy, I wish we could get by on so few points, we have to get a 2 bedroom and travel when school is out so we never seem to have enough. Maybe when your family grows, or if you decide to make more trips per year in the future, you may want to consider a small contract. Glad you had fun :D Lacee
