BCV pool with a guest?

I know I've seen this discussed before but I can't remember if I've ever seen the official answer to it.

If I'm a member staying on points at BCV and my aunt lives in Florida and is going to come visit for a day but not staying at the villas. Can she come swimming with us at Storm Along Bay?

If you can add her to the reservation, (not more than the villa limit, and if you are not getting the dining plan, of course) she will have a key to the room to show when she's going to get her towels.

If you ask at the desk, you can get the official answer for someone not staying at the BC. It's my understanding that no guests are allowed to use SAB or the other pools at the BC/YC.

You may have day visitors, but they are not allowed to use the pools. That is true of all WDW resorts.

As suggested, you may add her to your room and obtain a key for her in which case she would be able to use all the facilities. Otherwise, you can perhaps go off and tour one of the parks together, which we have often done with our guests. Then you can relax later in your villa and perhaps enjoy a meal there.

If you don't add her to your room, they do check room IDs for all guests who use the pool. She would need a room ID with her name on it.
