We're staying at BCV in early Nov. We won't have access to a computer the night before we return home. Will the front desk of the BC help us to do the online checkin, and print out our boarding passes?

Thanks!

We asked that of VWL when we were there last month. They tried to access our airline's website, but it was blocked. The concierge guy said that they are allowed access to almost nothing on the Internet.

I know they will print them out at the front desk/guest services at BWV so I would assume the same would hold true at BCV. By the way, if flying Southwest the online boarding pass window has been expanded to 24 hours before the flight departure, thus you don't have to get up extra early to get an 'A' boarding pass.

We just did this at SSR a few weeks ago, I asked at the front desk and no problem. If you are using M.E., check with the Bell Services Desk, they will check your bags and print boarding passes. We did that at BWV in May.

I've had the front desk at the YC, SSR & OKW print boarding passes for me in the past. Now I bring my laptop and get them while in my room.

I did this at BC in August. I was staying at BCV and treked to the front desk right before midnight. They were very pleasant and accomodating. I was the only one there and another person came up for the same reason. I had called down from our studio to see if this was possible and they said as long as their computers were working that would be fine.

We stayed at BCV over the Labor Day weekend. There is a seperate kiosk for ME and boarding passes in the hallway as you walk from the front lobby and head towards the Villas and the Marketplace. You can't miss it. However, I have seen it unmanned from time to time so you may want to enquire about your boarding passes when you check in.

This is all very interesting. The WL concierge said it wasn't possible, yet every other hotel seems to not have a problem. Did I just get a bad CM? Has anyone been able to do this when staying at VWL?

When we were at BCV during Labor Day I did ask the front desk about helping me with the boarding passes because they do not have a business center and I did not bring my laptop. The CM at the front desk said there shouldn't be a problem just come down before midnight and they would help me get my boarding passes. However, if you are flying Southwest and your children are traveling with you, I would not worry about it because they will allow you to move to the priority seating line if you have children. They understand you want your family to sit together. So you can wait until you get to the airport and check in.

Jimbo, I did ask at the concierage at SSR and was told to go the frontdesk. Maybe the concierge doesn't have access. The CM at WL should have know this, maybe you got a new CM.

This is all such helpful info. Yes, we are flying Southwest. We do have young children. However, I was told on another board that sometimes when the flights are full of children, they don't allow families with young children to board early, as most of the plane would be pre-boarding! That's why I was trying to get that coveted "A" boarding pass early!

I hadn't heard that Southwest was allowing 24 hour checkin. Yep, I just checked the website, and sure enough, it now says 24 hours ahead of time! That's great! No trekking down after midnight!

When we stayed a VWL in May, the front desk printed our boarding passes for us for Airtran. There was a little confusion at first since Airtran wasn't participating in ME, but they did get online and do it for us. Have had front desk print boarding passes at OKW, VWL, BCV and AKL.

Just curious - what's the advantage to printing out boarding passes before getting to the airport? I've never done this. Is it only important if you fly SW (we're flying Song)? Thanks!

We were just at WDW and was checking out the BCV's (going in December) and from what I read, it was only for 'certain' airlines-which wasn't the one we fly on (Alaska). On our trip out from Seattle, the line for the 'preprinted boarding pass' folks was longer than the non preprinted boarding folks! The folks with the preprinted boarding passes still had to get in line to get their luggage tags!

BCV printed out our boarding passes for Southwest in July with no problems. They were glad to do it and very nice.

To all pre boarders (children or others ) Please try to get an A pass .
This is important to others because if you get a B or even worst a C it just allows you to jump ahead of the others waiting and trying to get the best boarding A's anyhow.
I would rather have a B or C and see a short A line because they are used up by the PRE boarders as they should be. JMO.
