BCV Experts - 2BR help please

Is it possible to specifically book a 2BR with 2 Queen Beds in the 2nd bedroom at BCV? Or do you have to request it and hope that your request is met. We will have four people in the 2nd bedroom so we'd rather not have to deal with the double-sized sleeper sofa.

Two hours ago I made a 2BR BC ressie and they asked me what my preference was and I took 2 queens.

Although we've not done it as we need an accessible room when we get a 2BR, it is my understanding that if it is available when you book, it is a reservation not just a request. I think there are only 25 or so though so book early.

I don't know if they have changed how they are doing things in the last year or so, but when we booked a BCV 2br it was a room type (guaranteed) not a request.

We always tell them we want 2Q when we make the reservations and I am pretty sure it is guaranteed. (At least I hope so or we're going to have a BIG problem!)

I can confirm the above. It is a reservation type, not a request, so therefore you must book it at the time of reservation.

It will not be noted on your reservation - however - if you email MS and ask for a confirmation, they will email you back. I have it for my March trip coming up.

Also - when I called for this trip - I called day by day to be sure I got all 7 days in the 2Q. The first day I called the person made a mistake and booked the Q/Sofa. The next day it got corrected. So whether you call once or by day - be sure you get that confirmation in hand by email and bring it with you to check in!

The 2BR with the 2queens I believe is called a "dedicated" 2BR and there are not alot of them. They are nice because the 2nd bedroom does not have the extra kitchen (alot more dressing room area) and there is only one entrance door to the whole suite. We had one this past Jan and loved it. But I did receive a confirmation after booking indicating I had the 2 queens, so if you don't have this yet, don't just assume you'll get it.

Not all dedicated 2 bedrooms have the 2 beds, some have 1 queen & 1 sofabed. Originally they all were 1 queen & 1 sofabed, they later changed some of them to 2 queens but not all because some second bedrooms were too small.

Thank you all for the replies. I own at OKW so I will only be able to book 7 months out. With there only being 25 of these rooms, I guess we will be lucky if we can get one. Is it possible to go on a waitlist for this specific type of unit?

According to the Vacation Club book I received last year, the 2BR units at the BCV ".... provide either one queen-size bed and double-size sleeper sofa, or two queen-size beds in separate bedroom with private bath ....."

Is this information not correct?

The 53 dedicated 2 bedrooms that do not have an actual queen size bed have a queen size sofa bed. The lock-off 2 bedrooms have a double size sofa bed.

Thank you Terry S ..... so as long as I get a dedicated 2BR there will not be an issue. The concern was over bed size rather than sofa bed vs actual bed. Thanks so much for the clarification.
