BCV Easter week or first of June 2004?

Easter week will take 76 points, first part of June 52.
Easter will be CROWDED I'm sure, first part of June maybe not too bad, Gay Week shouldn't be a probelm I think since we won't use points for over the weekend. (Am I wrong here?)
June will be much hotter I'm thinking.
Any opinions out there?

Avoiding the weekend in June does not avoid Gay week, which is usually 6 days now. They will start on a Monday, Tuesday or wednesday and go to Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. However, it is still not a real issue if you want to avoid -- all you need to do is check for next year's schedule for gay week when it comes out and then go to a park that is different from the one designated for the gay crowd on each day. Easter will have longer hours than early June, e.g., midnight at MK during Easter compared to 9 or 10 during early June. The June crowd will be large; however, the Easter crowd will be about 3 times that one. Easter will have ideal weather -- warm to hot days and pleasant evenings. June will be much hotter (including at night) and you get more rain at that time although usually just intermittent thunderstorms. Despite that I would still take early June because of the Easter crowds and the fewer points. We have done both. We actually did Easter 13 times. However, we just finally reached the point where we were not going to put up with those stiffling crowds anymore (it actually gets difficult to just walk around in the park).

We were there for Easter week 1999 and it was very crowded! MK was worse than christmas day! Rude, pushy people and hot to book(although that was only at MK). Other parks were bearable. We have gone mid June twice and we are returning this June22-26. Weather is very warm, but not the craxy humidity of july and august. We went to parks early, back to resort to swim and relax then back to parks at night. Very enjoyable! If I went at Easter again, I would time MK better and not do it on Easter Sunday.

In my case I would vote for June. Fewer points and the crowds may not be as bad. Early June, look for temperatures in the mid to upper 80's, which is a similar temperature to most U.S. cities that time of year. I've been in June and it is very enjoyable.

You kids look pretty young, so I would go with June. Easter is always very, very crowded. Fantasyland at the MK has hour+ waits. This year, Blizzard Beach was closed on Thursday by 10:30 am. Never, never, go to the MK on Easter Sunday. Even our group of 13-year olds got tired of the crowds at MK on Tuesday. We go real early in the day, go back to the room about 1:00, and then return to the parks at night after most of the "strollers" have left. The parades, Illuminations, Fantasmic, etc. all start lining up almost 2-hours ahead. Go at Easter when you kids are older and you can no longer take them out of school for a week.

Since you're talking the first week of June, I would go then instead of Easter week. The first week of June has fairly light crowds (many schools aren't out yet) and the weather is not nearly as hot and humid as later in the month.
