BCV Day by Day & Cash ressie??

I tried doing a search for this, but did not find anything specific for the time of year we are going.

We are planning a trip for May 2006(will partially coincide with Memorial Day week). Aprox. 10 nights, 1 bedroom, BCV.

1. Should I book day by day or should I be ok with booking all nights together? Since the Flower and Garden Fest. will be running, I know the Epcot resorts tend to be tricky. My conercern is the job I have could make it difficult some mornings to make the day by day ressie.

2. If I need to make a cash ressie for one of the nights through MS, I believe it can be linked to my points ressie so we will not have to move rooms. Am I correct in understanding this? (We may just try to rent/transfer the additional points, but in case that does not work out I want to understand my options).

This is a huge family trip (involves 7 different households) that took a lot of work getting dates together that worked for everyonone. So I want to be sure I don't have any issues with my ressies.

If you have the 11 month window, I don't think you have to worry. You could make first 5 nights in one call and the rest in another. You can see if you can get one or two of the weekend nights with member cash, they usually are not available at the 11 month mark. For weekend nights you are better off with the member cash discount than renting points. If you can get the member cash discount, they do link it so you don't have to move (unless it is a room that is not allow for member cash, such as boardwalk view at BWV or 2 queens 2 bedroom at BCV).

I never even thought of booking 5 days and then the rest.

I guess as far as the cash nights go, I will just wait and see what I can get.
