I was wondering how many stops there are at Beach Club for bus transportation. For MGM and Epcot I'm not concerned because of their close proximity to the resort. I'm more concerned with Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Downtown Disney.

Depending on how many stops there are, I want to make sure I leave enough travel time to get to where I need to go (e.g. character breakfasts, dinner reservations, etc.)

There is one Bus Stop at BCV and it includes individual waiting areas for those wanting a bus to MK, AK (including BB) or DTD (including TL). There is no bus service from BCV (or BWV) to Epcot or MGM. Thos are accessed either on foot or by Friendship Boat.

Ths Bus Stop is found to the right as you drive into the Bell Services area for check-in at the resort.

Enjoy!

Do you know if the bus just picks up guests at the Villas or does it also pick up guests at Beach Club and Yacht Club?

When we stayed at BCV in June, the buses went right to their destination from the BCV's stop.

Now, the very first time that we stayed at BCV, I got off the bus at the YC, didn't know the difference, I didn't know there were the 2 bus stops, but now I do! It was quite a walk for me from that bus stop to our villa.

The busses at the BC are for both BC and BCV. These busses also pickup/drop off at YC, BW and the Swan and Dolphin. It seems to me the pickup/drop off order varies by season. The rule of thumb given by the ADR CMs is allow an hour and an half to get to you reservations. This particularly true if you are going to another resort and must go DTD to get the bus. If we are going to another resort we often take the first park bus and get a resort bus at the park.

The bus stop Doc described is for both BC and BCV. There is also one at the YC side of the resort and the buses go that side first. From my experience and most reports the MK buses are usually just for the Y&BC/BCV.

From my past experience the bus stop order was Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club, Beach Club/villas and Boardwalk/Villas. By the time the bus would get to the BC/BCV stop they were pretty crowded and were SRO for the BW/BWV.

There are very few buses that stop at all 5 resorts any longer (Swan/Dolphin/Yacht/Beach/Boardwalk).

Most of the runs are 3 or 2 resorts. For example, from BC to MK the bus picked up at YC, BC, and BW. From MK to BC the bus is YC and BC only.

We had a few mid-day buses that returned to all 5 resorts, especially those that came from the water parks back to the resorts.

That's good to hear. In Feb we had stops at all 5 resorts.

We were there 4th of July week and the buses stopped at BCV, YC, Swan, Dolphin and BWV. When we went last May we were told because it was a slower time they made all the stops, but 4th of July week was BUSY and they still made all the stops. We found it annoying especially when the budget hotels had their own bus and we were riding around for what seemed like FOREVER!!!. Really think Swan and Dolphin should share and then BCV and YC share and then BWV should have a separate one. I realize it is easier to man one bus as opposed to three, but I guess I have come to expect more as a DVC Member.
