What is the best room at the Beach Club Villas in your opinion? Some people like a view of Epcot, some like the woods, some like the pool view.

What do you think is the best room (number) and why? Or which area is best (close to the road, close to the buses, lower level, upper floors, etc.)?

Depends on preference

BCV has Woods/Wetland view, Epcot view w Resort Road in foreground, Dunes Cove pool view, Canal view, quadrangle between BC and BCV view etc....

We have stayed in 224 and 252 (224 is woods/wetland and 252 is Epcot w road in foreground) and have been happy with each. 224 is close to elevators, 252 is at the end of a hallway and a walk to the elevators

Sometimes the stairs are the fastest access points up and down

Boy, do I know from personal experience that "best" is such a subjective term. Generally what type of things do you like in views? Last year, I had a room that people had raved about, and it had an Epcot view. Well, I thought it was far inferior to the view from the room I had the year before, which had had a woods view. This year when I made my ressies, I specifically asked for "non-Epcot" view. I guess I'd rather see the nature and the grass than Illuminations from my room. Yet, I'll bet there are some people who've had the room view I love and been less than impressed. So there's no one "best"-thank goodness or we'd all fight for the same room!

Actually I have stayed at the BCV twice. The first time we had a spectacular Epcot view. The second time we stayed on the first floor poolside with not much view. Guess what? We loved the first floor room. We could slip out to our car, the pool, or to the courtyard. It was very convienent. I would be happy to have the first floor again.

I wouldn't worry too much...it is a lovely place to stay. For our trip in May I didn't request anything other than non-smoking and non-handicapped...we'll see what we get this time. Sandie

As far as "best" for my family, we really enjoy our Epcot View. Our kids are young and therefore they don't do well staying out late, so it is really nice to be able to come home, give the kids a bath, put their pjs on and then go sit out on the balcony watch the fireworks and then put them to bed. Once they are older, this view may not be as important to us because we won't be in the room at that time as much.

On each of our previous stays, we have always had pool views until last week, when we wound up with an Epcot/Illuminations view (room 257). We liked it; it was close to the elevator, hence making getting to the pool and parking lot a snap, and we LOVED being able to catch Illuminations every night. So for our May trip, I think I may actually try again for this view again.

Here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. As others have said, best is in the eye of the beholder.

This will give you an idea of “sectional views”. It is extremely difficult to ask for a specific room (as well as trying on the CM’s). With the new room ready policy, guests have reported getting several choices at check-in and this may than help

I have also created a sheet that just has some highlights of rooms that may not work for everyones needs. You might find that helpful instead:

The files arein adobe acrobat and which can be downloaded from this site for free:

Happy travels,

It is really cool to see Spaceship Earth in your entire window (it's that big) while relaxing in your room. But you do get the backstage of Epcot too. If you're a purist like me, you don't want to see some of that stuff. But it's still an experience.
