Hey you guys, could I get some opinons on the pull out bed in the BCV one bedrooms? Are they comfortable or do you feel like you have a metal bar in your back all night long???

There are going to be 4 of us, my husband, my 10 year old, my mother and me. We know we'll have a kingsize bed in the master bedroom but hubby and I are concerned over the sleeping arrangements.

At first we thought he and I would sleep in the bedroom, my mom on the pull out sofa (if it's comfortable) and my daughter either in the bed with my mom or in her sleeping bag. We also have an air mattress we are considering bringing.

The other option is my mom and me sleeping in the bedroom and my husband on the pullout. Then my daugher would have the option of her sleeping bag or in the kingsized bed with my mom and me.

Thanks for your thoughts on this. Only a few more weeks till our first trip to WDW!

We just got back from the BCV and had 4 people in a 1 bedroom. Because my kids (big) won't sleep on the same bed together, the smaller one used the cushions from the sofa bed that you take off when you pull it out and made them into a bed. The maids actually made this into a bed for us that they made up with blankets and sheets everyday!! The 10 year old will be fine there, as my 21 year old was the one who used the cushions! This of course is not for everyone, but it worked for us.

I was on one of these last summer. We were in a studio and my little darlings were at each other's throats, so a few nights I was on the pullout with daughter to keep the kids apart.

I have a fussy lower back. Even nice hotel beds leave me sore. The pullout was fine. Truly, I have been on much worse at the Holiday Inns and Fairfields we use on the trip down.

Everyone seems to have their own idea about what is "comfortable." I think you have a good shot at finding the sofabeds OK. They are only a year old at most! I also think that at WDW, you are so tired at night you could probably sleep on a bed of nails. Any of your group will probably be fine on the sofabed, and the rest of you can juggle accordingly.
