BCV Balconies?

Are all the balconies the same size at the Beach Club Villas? I'm worried we will get one of those standing only balconies. We will be renting a two bedroom, I don't know if that makes a differance. Thanks, Kim

The BCV do NOT have those standing room only balconies that you can see at B/Y club! Some of the BCV balconies are HUGE, so I don't think you have to worry. I've never stayed at BCV 2 bedroom, so can't give you a specific example.

We stayed in a (dedicated) 2 BDR at BCV in Jan. I was surprised that we only had one balcony, but anyway...the balcony was big enough for a couple of chairs.

Just a warning. We stayed in a 1 bedroom at BCV and it was on the first floor. We did not have a balcony. We had a tiny square of patio that barely fit 2 chairs. We didn't request to move because we had BIL, SIL and Niece in a studio right next to us in an ajoining room and moving would have messed that up. I have no idea what the 2 BDR would be like but if it's on the first floor, just make sure you get more than a square!

We stayed in a 2br at BCV last November and got the MOAB (Mother Of All Balconies). It may be kind of hard to see in this photo, but if you look closely you will see my son and my brother at opposite ends of the balcony, which was a whopping 60 FEET I think the room number was 231. It is a garden view room with a little bit of the fireworks thrown in for good measure.

I've been in a dedicated 2 br with the MOAB and a 2 br with 2 seperate balconies! So.... there ya have it!! You could have a patio, 1 balcony, 2 balconies or the MOAB! Either way- you'll get something I guess!!
