BCV and over door shoe organizer

One of the best hint I got from DIS is the over door shoe organizer. However, the standard hangers doesn't fit the thicker, heavy bathroom door in BCV. Has anyone found one that would fit the thicker door? I would like to get a new one for our next trip in April.

I've never used this trick at DVC, but we went on a cruise last month and it really worked out well. It's probably the best tip I picked up on the internet prior to the cruise.

The organizer we used (4.99 at CVS) had metal clips to hang it. My recommendation would be to manually adjust it (1-800-CRANK-IT) or perhaps pick up a couple of those 3M stick-on picture hangers. I don't know if they'd be strong enough, but they claim to do no damage to the surface. MS would probably get upset if you started screwing stuff in.

i use ours at the dvc resorts, i hang it in the closet, because i really dont hang much and if i do, i use one side of the closet for the hang clothes and the more easier access side for the hanging shoe bag, i never leave home with out it, i cant stand all that junk on the counter, and the kids each have their own row, and i dont have to hear anymore "mom were is my " they know just to go to the shoe bag and get it, keeps the room clutter free i even made my dh keep his keys, wallet in it when we get back to the room and he sees the keys and wallet when he reaches for his deo and brush and that reminds him to grab it and we are not making extra trips back to the room for them, lol,lol.
