BCV and air conditioning ??

I know this has been discussed here many times before, but for those that just returned from BCV, did you have trouble with your air conditioner thermostat going off at night and it being really hot?

I know it will be really hot and humid when we go to WDW and DH likes his AC nice and cold so I was wondering if it is still an issue. Thanks!!

FYI, if it is not to your liking you can call maintenance and they will come adjust it. It takes the guy all of 2 minutes to re-set it so you can lower the temp. We called for Mom last summer at BCV, because she has asthma and likes her room FRIGID, especially at night... My poor Dad practically has to wear longjohns. Anyhow, they were very nice. Just tell them you need it cooler to sleep and I think they will come right out. Also, I like it quite cool too, but I thought the temp in our studio was fine. There are ceiling fans that keep the air circulating even if the AC is not blowing.

Thanks Colleen. That is good to know. DH loves it real cold too and I am usually the one wanting to put on the sweatshirt etc. However, since we are going in July I refuse to pack the sweatshirt. LOL! I am glad DH will be ok though. Thanks again.

We were just there in May and we had no problems. I did keep the fan going at night just to keep the air circulating.

We were there 6-11 to 6-18. It definitely wasn't hot. Hate to admit it (because I'm the one complaining about my house being too warm), but I got cold several nights. The A/C was working great in our units.

We didn't notice the room getting warm and uncomfortable at night when we stayed one night in a studio in June, BCV. If I/we were uncomfortable, we would call down and ask for adjustments.

We stayed there June 9 & 10 and must say the temp was set at 69 when we arrived and stayed that way throughout. All was well!!!

Just finished a 5 day stay there - air temp remained constant.

Great news! We are staying at BCV end of July and I'm sure we'll need that AC nice and cool after a hot, humid day in the parks
