I know these are limited in number and that there are not any located on the first floor.

Anyone have info as to what rooms offer this combination? Or personal experience with staying in one.

Being as there are so few of them, just curious to what the views for these rooms are.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Here is a link with some room reports. Look under the "comments" and you will see the 2 queens noted. Than you can look at views, etc.

This will give you an idea of “sectional views”. It is extremely difficult to ask for a specific room (as well as trying on the CM’s). With the new room ready policy, guests have reported getting several choices at check-in and this may than help

The file is in adobe acrobat and which can be downloaded from this site for free:

Happy travels,
Sandy

Thanks Sandy, I had already looked at your listing. I only saw one that listed 2 queens, and that was 324.

I believe it is actually all dedicates. i have waited to put it in comments for confirmation. I thought one or two people said they didn't get that.

Try looking at just dedicated views. That will be your best bet.

Many of the dedicateds do not have the 2 queen setup. Most have the queen/sofa combo, so that will not help.

Hopefully as people stay in the 2 queens a list will begin to emerge.

I know there are no 2 queen setups on the first floor. All of the dedicateds on the first floor have the sofa bed in the 2nd bedroom.

When you make a ressie, you actually get that configuration on it. It comes up at 2 BR- DQ, meaning 2 BR, dedicated, 2 queens.

If you really need to know where they all are, you can e-mail MS and see if they'll tell you. I can tell you I did at one point, and never really got a response. Otherwise, you probably won't find out all of them. There are only 25 DQ rooms in all of BCV.

If that room arrangement is most important to you, then you might just have to take what view you get. If the view is most important, I wouldn't ask for a DQ specifically.

Keep in mind that some of the 2 BR on Sandy's list *may* be DQ, but if the reviewer who submitted the info to Sandy didn't provide it, there's no way Sandy could put it on her list.

If my numbers are right, there are 78 dedicated 2 BR's. Any idea what made them pick approx 1/3 for the 2 Queen combo? (I won't ask the rhyme or reason that than occured for selecting those locations;) )

Sandy

P.S. 333 is going to be on the next update. close to elev.; woods/wetlands view; 2 Queens in 2nd bedroom

Zulaya Thanks,

I could not remember how many there were, I knew there were not many. As stated with there only being 25, view might not be an option. It will probably come down to what is available at checkin.

Just curious as to whether anyone has actually stayed in one and where it was located.

As you stated I doubt Member Services will tell or know. I know when we booked it the agent we booked with did not know there were none on the first floor.

Sandy, when BCV opened all the 2 bedrooms had the sofa combo in the 2nd bedroom. Since the preview for BCV stated that the 2 bedroom dedicateds would offer the 2 queen beds, DVC had to go back and try to correct the problem.

However due to the layout of certain rooms and size of rooms, not all dedicateds were large enough to handle 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom which is why some did not get them.

It was a strange situation.

I know both 553 and 533 have the 2 queens. 553 has a view of SE and of Illuminations. It also has a view of the road. 533 is a woods view. I am pretty sure that I have seen that the same numbered rooms on the 4th floor have the 2 queens as well.

I have come to the conclusion and this is just my guess, but I think that the rooms that ended up getting the 2nd queen are based on size and configuration like others have mentioned, but also I think they are ones where there is no sliding glass door from that 2nd bedroom to a balcony, just a window. If anyone has stayed in a 2 bedroom at BCV with 2 queens that has had a sliding glass door from that 2nd bedroom, that would throw my theory out the door. Anyone?

Well, we had room 433...I don't know if that is directly above 333 and 533 but we had two queens which I had requested. It had what I would call a "quiet" view of some grass, a path, and the woods. It was a nice room.

Sorry to be a pest but 433 was previously reported as a lockoff. Are you sure of the number? If so, I will update my chart as it must be dedicated with the 2 queens?

Thanks
Sandy

154 is a dedicated 2 bedroom with 1 sleeper/1 queen. It has a pool view. 377 is a dedicated 2 bedroom with 2 queens. It is a canal view, at the far end of the hall but was very quick to self parking if you took the stairs, mid elevator was just alittle down the hall. We stayed at both in November and i noticed one confirmation did say dedicated 2Q so you can request that. I explained my situation and she said she would make sure the confirmation suited us. Without knowing what I was doing, we got 1 of each the first room and then the 2Q the 2nd. 154 is right at the pool so my husband would take the girls to the pool and I could sit on the patio while I did laundry or worked on the laptop and see them as well. 154 had 3 patios, 1 for each room. 377 just had 1 very small balcony.

Webmasterdoc did a "BCV Configuration" thread a while back. I *think* it showed the dedicated rooms, but didn't point out the 2Qs. I can't seem to locate any such map of where those 2Q rooms are, yet I've seen several threads wherein someone cited they stayed in a 2Q room. Surely they didn't all get the same room.... If we could get those folks to talk to InstImpres, we might just be on to something!

That was what lead to my question. I knew there was only a few of them and surely someone on these boards had stayed in them. Being so few in number I figured we would get a good idea where they were located.

(I promise an update by next weekend to the charts - work is crazy no, hence why I am online s a deversion at 1am)

I downloaded Sandy's chart awhile back (thanks, Sandy!), and I've been updating it on my own. The numbers listed previously agree with what I have, but I have one additional. Here's my list, with the reported views:

324 -- Fireworks
333 -- Woods view, no balcony on second bedroom
377 -- Illuminations, Spaceship Earth, canal
378 -- Canal, pool, parking lot
433 -- Woods view, no balcony on second bedroom
451 -- View not indicated
533 -- Wood view
553 -- Spaceship Earth, World Showcase, fireworks, laser show

Pat

292 days and counting . . . again!

To confirm, 378 has the 2Queens. Stayed last year.

We have a ressie for July in a 2br-2Q. We asked for an Epcot view this time. Can't be that many so I'll try and hunt down the inventory so I'll know when I check in.

Thanks for all the HARD work.

I will be able to add to the list of 2b,2Qs as I have one reserved in October!

I look forward to your reports, The VWL Five and Laurabearz! I think it's great the way everyone on this board works together to make our DVC experiences be the best they can be.

How 'bout a mushy group hug :grouphug: for all of us and a special salute to Sandy :wave2: for keeping this chart organized and available to all.

Pat

On our last visit 10/03 we originally requested (10 mths out) a Dedicated 2bdrm with 2 queen beds. When we received our confirmation back we neglected to look at the fact that the 2 queen bed part was not on the sheet. When we arrived we were given a dedicated without the extra queen bed for the first night. We had to wait and move to a new room on the second night. It was a big inconvenience and difficult as we were traveling with my retired parents and aunt - none of which could handle more than a night on a pull-out. Just make sure that if you are asking for the 2 queen 2nd bedroom that you have it in writing.
