BBB or pirates league?

Ok so I've been trying unsuccessfully to get a BBB appointment at Mk I do have one at DS though. Well today when I called they talked me into booking a mermaid package at the Pirates league instead. So my ? Is should I do it or go to our BBB appointment at DS instead? I don't know anything about this mermaid package at all. Im going to google it now but Id love to get some opinions of this from some of you that may have done both and which one was enjoyed more?

Oh and my dd is 5 and I'm bringing an Ariel costume to either one anyway because that's her favorite princess.

If you are looking for princess-y, then definitely do BBB.
The mermaid package at the Pirates league is cute, but it's not Ariel. The atmosphere there is very piratey, and they joke a lot about how mermaids can't be trusted.
If your daughter has a good sense of humor and likes pirates, it'll be fun, but if she wants to be pampered and be a princess, you have to go to BBB

We haven't done BBB to compare, but my niece was very happy when we did the mermaid package. We didn't experience any joking about mermaids not being trusted and the CM was very attentive and sweet.

My DD 13 went to the Pirates League this summer and loved it. She did however, get a pirate look and not the mermaid. While there, other girls were getting the mermaid and it they looked pretty. I was very impressed with the staff as they really went above and beyond to make the experience special. I will say that the place is very pirate-y so not sure that will be a turn off if your DD is into the more sparkly and glittery things like BBB would be. My other DD did BBB at World of Disney and it didn't seem like the staff was as into making it an experience for her. That was a couple of years ago so not sure if it has improved. Good Luck.

We did both in MK with DD5 last year. She loved both but probably preferred the PL as she absolutely adored the finished look - the face paint is amazing! We met ariel afterwards and she really did spend a lot of time with her and combed her hair with a fork. We have already booked PL for next year.

If your daughter is wanting the princess experience - do the BBB.
If your daughter is more tomboy and likes pirates etc... do the PL.
The mermaid PL package will not being to compare to the BBB.

We did BBB and it's amazing. It is the ultimate princess-loving girl's fantasy. The area is beautiful, they each have their own stylist doting on them, pampering them, the photographers are amazing, and you get a nice portrait session after wards.

I think the PL would be fun, and they do an awesome job, and we'll probably do it next time, but again - if she wants the "pampered princess" feel, do BBB.
