We are traveling with friends and they decided they want to try BBB with their two girls. I only have a son, so this is outside my realm of Disney knowledge! So, if we are 68 days out, what are their chances of getting reservations? Any tips/tricks/suggestions? Thanks!

Booking for BBB starts at 180 days out. They need to call immediately, and just keep trying if nothing is currently available.

It's going to be rough.

I had a trip towards the beginning of the year, started planning it closer to 100 days out. Getting some FPs and ADRs (especially at times we needed) was tough, but at the end we ended up getting everything at exactly the time we needed by checking multiple times a day. Everything but BBB that is.

The problem with BBB is that you can't book it yourself, you need to call the reservation line. So what should take 30 seconds online takes 5+ minutes by phone, if lines aren't busy. We eventually got a late (4:30pm) reservation at DTD after trying for a while, but no matter how hard we tried nothing else opened up, including the days leading up to the reservation, for either MK or DTD.

They need to try ASAP and keep calling daily for cancellations if they really want it, plus be prepared to only get a late res at DTD. It was my first try at BBB, but from what I read my experience was somewhat common.

Same here, I forgot all about the 180 opening for these and waited until the around the 90 day mark and everything was gone for my trip unless I wanted Downtown Disney. I am going to keep checking back closer to our trip to see if something opened up but it might actually be for the best since we have so many other things planned and wanting to see.

I just called for Christmas Eve and got it-late appt but my daughter is older so it should be fine.

Don't give up hope - I just got a BBB at MK a week or so ago

They might have an easier time getting an appointment at the DTD location, but they will need to be flexible if they want to get an appointment.

It will be rough for them...especially if they need more than one appointment, since I saw your post said girlS....

The best advice would be to keep calling!

Yep. Two girls. So far, we found a time at pirates league and a few times at DTD. We will take turns calling back to see of we can luck out and get castle appointments!
