BBB eliminated photopass photographers

Just received a call from CM regarding my E-mail....she confirmed that it is true. Disney Spring location already stopped takng pictures during a make over. MK location will do the same from Nov. 8th. She said since our appointments are this coming Sunday, we should still receive photo services. But after this, I'll have to think twice about getting BBB appointments for girls in the future.

Did they say the photopass photographers would not be there on November 8th and going forward? November 8th is our appointment day.

This is terrible...those reveal photos better than the photos taken after the experience. I would much rather Disney eliminate the photo session after and keep the photographers during the makeover.

What about those people who purchased MM for BBB? This year our DD is doing Pirages League and we are purchasing Gold Passes so....we didn't get MM. However, in prior years when DD did BBB, we bought MM specifically because of BBB. The other photos were nice but that was the main reason we purchased it.

I asked why in my email! I also let them know that I may be cancelling my dd's bbb appointment because of this and asked them if they are aware that parents pay for these sorts of things because of the memories, not just for the moment of. I'll let you guys know if I get a response at all. If they don't respond at least I let them know of my disappointment.

Thanks so much for Emailing them. Yes, I'd be very interested in what they have to say. Let's just hope they don't give some "canned" response-"Thanks for Emailing us to express your concerns", etc.

I "believe" from Nov. 8th, they won't have photographers in MK location.......... I also asked why the change, and she didn't know. She said it could be just a test they are doing, and enough people are upset about it then Disney may bring it back. But I'm sure she knows as much as we know what the real reasons are for this.

My DD never wanted to do BBB so we never had the experience. But, you've all got me intrigued about these Big Reveal photos. They sound adorable! Does anybody have a photo they'd be willing to share? I'd love to see what everyone says thy are going to miss so much.

This really is low of Disney. I am not that good with our camera so I don't think my pictures will really turn out. I think the problem is if they cut these photographers, what other photography locations will they cut? If they keep cutting photographers MM won't be worth it. We pay a lot for MM for our trips and I do actually want more then just a few pics in front of the park icons. I think anyone who uses MM needs to write in as this may affect more than just BBB in the long run.

Our MM pics from BBB were the best pictures of my daughter we have ever had taken, and that includes the professional photos we have had done each year. I got to sit and enjoy the experience without ever taking a picture. Now that tight space is going to be crammed with parents with giant cameras rudely blocking the views of other parents and children. That space is just to small for lots of adults trying to take photos. That was the beauty of PP there. If that photo service is gone for good we will be gone for good from BBB. Easy decision.

We have never used the BBB but I wanted to add in a reply here. Next year my daughter will be old enough and having pictures of a makeover would add to the value of the event for us. We already have tons of hair bows and costumes at our house, it would be the special setting and pictures that would make it memorable for us to do and worth paying for. I did email the company and let them know we will probably not be using it if they don't have the photography available during the session. Hopefully that helps the cause.
