BBB eliminated photopass photographers

I just purchased an annual including the photo pass option. I don't have any kids to do BBB but this is really upsetting! I spent about 150 more than I would have on the Gold Pass than the lower tiers and if this was one of the reasons why I would be livid! I hope they are getting plenty of complaints. I also see from OP that they are taking away PP from the castle??? Does this mean Cinderellas Castle? Just double checking. That will be absolutely absurd.

The OP means they are taking photopass away from the Cinderella Castle location of the BBB, not CInderella Castle in general.

I have an appointment for my nieces in December, and I called right away 6 months out like Disney wants me to in order to make a castle appointment. And now they're taking away the pictures??? It's just getting more and more ridiculous!

So I checked out the official website (Disney Springs location)...can someone tell me if this wording has always been this way, or if this is new?

I wouldn't be surprised if the website wasn't updated yet, but I wanted to ask and make sure this is old wording first

Not sure if this is your question, but the Castle package has always been the only one that came with the photo print package. Those were photos taken at the studio after the makeover was complete. They always had photopss photographers in the salon itself taking shots to add to your photopass account..... for all customers.

Additionally, anyone can get photos taken in the studio to be added to their photopass account. Only those with the Castle package were given prints to take home. And the Castle package customers were supposed to get priority in the line at the studio.

That's a shame though. That's exactly something that you want to enjoy with your child and have a few pictures of the process.

They should at least offer it as an add-on. I don't have a daughter, but I know how many trip reports I've read where those pics were favorites of the trip. Seems like Disney is just on fire with this kind of "updating" lately.

Terrible. Just terrible. My girls have outgrown this, but when they did do it, we got the cutest pics! I loved when they turned them around for the 1st time to see themselves in the mirror and the photographer got the picture through the mirror. Those were 2 of my favorite pictures that I would never have gotten. I'm sure my flash would have caused a terrible bright reflection. The amount of $$$$$$ Disney makes is beyond comprehension and I truly do LOVE it and feel the magic even during the planning, let alone when I'm there...but, it's so disheartening all the things they are taking away lately, while increasing pricing everywhere. So very disappointing.

That's why I was asking about the "imaging package" listed on the website...I think it was $32 or something? I'm wondering if that's new wording, and Disney took something that used to be included and made it an extra charge...sadly, it woulsnt surprise me.

Not sure, but maybe that's what it used to cost if you wanted to add the print package but hadn't purchased the Castle package.

I really think people should write guest relations about this. First no more photos prints at CRT. Now no more photogs at BBB. All while prices keep going up. This is getting ridiculous.

And probably will continue to do so.

But in all fairness, people booking right now have no idea about the change. Most of the people booking at CRT probably have no idea they won't be getting a photo package. It takes a while for people to catch on.

I feel bad for the many people who booked 6 months ago who will have no idea of this change. I'm sorry, but that was part of the service they offered when they booked. They should not be able to take that away at will like this. I know they're a business and they can do what they want, they have the demand, etc, but this is truly poor customer service.
