BBB and CRT breakfast question

We are 181 days out...yay... so finalizing all of our plans to schedule in the morning.

We are planning to do BBB in the morning and then do breakfast at CRT. We would like to get an early BBB but I don't know how much time to allow for it. Would an 8ish BBB and a 9ish CRT work? Does it take more than an hour at BBB?

We have done BBB before and it was crazy craziness going on in there and took FOREVER. They didn't even call us back until almost 40 minutes past our appointment time (we were not walk-ins). There was a group of about 10 girls in front of us and it was just... crazy.. I'm hoping if we go first thing in the morning it won't be so nuts-o!

I'd do the restaurant first, then BBB.

The restaurant timing is much more within your control than BBB, especially at that time of day.

Allow an hour, or a bit more, for breakfast.

She probably wants to do BBB first so that her Princess can be in her Princess-finest for breakfast with the Princesses after BBB!

We have a 10:20 BBB appointment and a 1p lunch at CRT - I'm thinking that will be fine!

We are doing BBB the night before at DtD and 805 CRT

When we did BBB at DL, DD's hair stayed for two days and just needed a little hairspray to catch the flyaways. We figure this way she can get the full princess experience without us feeling like we're missing park time and we can get the early rezzie for CRT with all those awesome perks.

We have a BBB apt coming up soon! It is at 9a and I have a CRT ressie at 10a! If I have any time in between I will go ahead and get dd's BBB pics taken! Definately do BBB first so she will be fancy for CRT!

I would allow at least 1.5 hours for BBB, just in case. They shouldn't be backed up, but I would not want to feel rushed either. I think an 8 am BBB and 9:30 CRT would work out fine.

Based on our experience the past two summers, you could be cutting it close. I'd try to allocate more than an hour for BBB in case they run behind. Our appointments ran behind both times.

We have BBB reservations at 8:15 for one DD and 8:30 for the other 2. We made CRT reservations for 10:20. The person making the BBB reservations thought the 8:30 appts would give us plenty of time. We had to get an 8:15 because they didn't have 3 for 8:30. She said I could call back later and try to switch it.

We actually did BBB last summer in 45 min with plenty of time for pics before CRT! Hope it works as well this time!

We ended up getting an 8am BBB and a 9:30 CRT so I'm hoping it works as planned!

Were doing the same thing..... BBB at around 10 am and the Cinderella's Table for Lunch at 11 30 am. does anyone have pics of the different hairstyles so my DD can pick which one she wants (so we can plan ahead instead of her taking a LONG time to make a desicion at BBB on which hairstyle she wants)? When I made my reservations I always had the CM coordinate the times for me. Both times we were fine in making our CRT breakfast reservation, but I also asked for the earliest available time at BBB. I think both times we got the spot when BBB opened. Then the CM coordinated the time for the breakfast. We'll see how it works this time around. Our reservations are close to opening time, but not at exact opening time like the last two times. Hopefully, three times a charm and all will work out.

i have a 10:10am BBB and a 11:45am CRT - when i called for BBB they had ANY time that i wanted for that day. probably because its in the middle of October. but anyway, the CM on the phone said that it should take 45 minutes, so I allotted an hour and a half and i am not telling her that we are eating in the castle until the last minute! i love surprising people

How fun! This entire trip is going to be a surprise for my kiddos, we cannot wait until we get to wake them up with the news! We did BBB last time but we've never eaten in the castle. I don't think DD even knows there's a restaurant in there!

Just my opinion, but your photo of your daughter in her Snow White costume is better than any BBB photo I have seen. Personally, I'd save the bucks. But you didn't ask for my opinion. She is a cutie as Snow.

Awww thanks so much! About 3 days before our last trip she had a "run in" with a bookshelf at school and sported a shiner pretty much our entire trip...definitely made for memorable pics!!

oh i wish that the entire trip could be a surprise for my self-created-disney-freak-mini-me niece but my mother is paying for the trip and she told my niece before she told me! lol... but i do have some surprises in store, like CRT and staying in the Little Mermaid room (Ariel is her FAVE!!) and such.

please videotape their responses, i would LOVE to see it!!
