Hi!

We're heading to DW this December and have reservations at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for the 5 yr. old and 10 yr. old in our group, but my 14 yr. old DD is too old to go. She always wanted to, but we were never able to make it down there before she hit the age limit. Is there anywhere that we could go and get her hair styled like they do at the BBB? Is it possible to purchase the little crown or mickey clips at the BBB for her to use later? I really don't want her to feel left out.

Also, my almost 3 year old DD (turns 3 in Feb.) will be with us, but she is too young! Any suggestions on how to make her feel included too?

For your teen, you could always check out one of the spas? She could get a polish change and have her hair done, I am sure she could bring in a tiara if that is what she wants done. Could be something fun just for her and Mom.

As for your toddler, what about the barbershop on Main Street? I think she can get pixie dust there. Something short and sweet, but fun.

For your teen, what about Pirate's League and she could get the Mermaid Makeover. I would second Harmony Barbershop for the littlest one (if it isn't undergoing refurb then) or even for the teen...they can put your hair up and glitter it (it isn't the same glitter as BBB uses, though).

Oh cool! I didn't even know about that! That would be perfect! My boys would probably love that too! I wonder if I'd even be able to get a reservation this late in the game? We'll be at MK on Dec. 22nd.

I think the Mermaid makeover might be fun. They also have packages at the spa at the GF for every age tots to teens. Reality is, if you have four girls that really would want to do it, especially with an almost three year old, and only two that can do it, I would pick something that they can all do. I know life is not always fair, but that might be a pretty tough thing for a three year old to have to see and not get to go it.

I think I read on someone's blog that you can ask the Pirate's League if they would do a "no face" package for your 3yo. My understanding is that they can't do the makeup since it hasn't been rated for children under 3 but that they might let them do the rest. I think this is subject to their discretion and how busy they are but if you get everyone else in it might be worth a try. I think you can also purchase pirate stuff there too if you want to get them some pirate gear that the others get...

I know it's not exactly what you are asking for, but I'm going to take my daughters to GF Senses for Princess pedicures next trip. They have a kids spa menu. My daughters did BBB this summer, but will be almost 11 when we go again. I think they would enjoy the spa much more and you can do a mother/daughter pedicure. It's not much $ more than BBB. I think they also have manicures. I know your 3 year old would be too young for this, so it might not work out.

Double post-sorry.

You can get a flower girl package at the Grand Floridian Spa that includes hair and makeup. I think they'll do any age.

How about the mermaid package at pirates league?? So much fun and no age limits, we took our 11 year old last year because she loved it!! You can still dress up like a gypsy or pirate princess or even a mermaid!!

It's been a while since I bought one but they do sell the tiaras that they use at BBB in some of the shops. I bought two at the shop outside of Voyage of the Little Mermaid in DHS. They were about $10. You can also purchase the Mickey hair clip they use at BBB at BBB but it's $10. We skipped buying that.

There are a lot of YouTube videos showing you how to do the hair. I did my niece's hair and put the tiara in and had CM's and mom's commenting on her hair. I did her hair slightly different since it was so long and curly. I did the bun and then left the curls hanging down.

Also I'm not sure if it's for military only but the shades if green resort has a spa that does princess makeovers, they probably don't have the age cutoff like BBB does.
