Generally, if they give the guard your name and your room number and say they’re visiting you, they’ll be allowed to park. I say “generally” because at a near-park resort like BLT, especially if it’s busy, the guard might not let them in. So have a plan B.

If they’re staying at another Disney resort, they can park for free at TTC if the guard turns them away.

Forgot how convenient it was to catch the monorails from BLT to Epcot. One stop to the ticket center then express monorail to Epcot. I think it was 20 minutes or less for both. Coming back was a bit longer as you have to take the resort monorails all the way around till you reach BLT.

Reinforced why we like owning and staying at BLT. I hope the hard side rebub is done well. Anxious to see what the designers come up with.

We were really pleased. Bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, etc. we’re all in good shape. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc.

Only item off were the cushions on the main couch in the family room. But that’s probably to be expected after this amount of time and use. They looked fine but we’re a bit whonkey as you felt like you kept sliding off the couch when sitting. Forced me to sit in the chairs by the window which had a better angle to view the park.

We booked a lake view but had a really excellent theme park view of Tron, Space Mountain, and the castle. Lake view was directly in front looking out the window but looking to the was Magic Kingdom.

I've had that view before but out of a 2BR on the highest floor that those are available. I used to prefer the other side to be able to also see the CR building (and that is nice) but I'm a convert now, looking out north is so peaceful and lovely.
I think I’m with you. We previously had a 2 br with theme park views a few years ago. Bank borrowed 3 years of our points to celebrate a graduation this time in the 3 br villa. Lake view was us maxed out. But now that I’ve stayed in BLT 3 bedroom, not sure I would have wanted to put up another 120ish points for our M-Sat stay for direct “theme park view” in a 3 bedroom. Smaller rooms maybe.

3 bedroom is grand enough that you don’t need to go the extra theme park view route. Don’t get me wrong, if you can afford those points then great.

We enjoyed it thoroughly!

Yes, anxious to see how Disney Imaginers work their magic with the BLT refurb. Not sure if I'm in the minority or majority, but I kinda like have BLT having a "lite theming" touch. Just enough Mickey to know where you're out but overall wanting a higher quality room that has the 'wow' factor.

Not sure how they do that. The current décor is 'ok' but I feel it could be step better. Better for me not necessarily being more Disney intellectual theming.

I agree on the lite theming. It it could use a little more imo.

I think they should turn the entire CR, along with BLT, more to mid-century modern decor rather than "modern" (which, they way they've done it, isn't really that modern either). The new CR lobby has more of that retro/mid-century vibe and I'd like to see that at BLT and in the rooms.

Hello! I rented DVC points through DVC Rental Store and need to call them to ask the member to add my SIL and nephew to the reservation. It says I can only make one request before getting charged so I am planning to ask everything at once.

Staying in a GV Lake View.
Planning to ask for 2 baby gates, 1 P&P and a high chair.

Anything else worth requesting? I am having a hard time finding too many view options to know if I'd prefer one to another so looking for suggestions there too!

I like the current look (a lot better than some of the recent refurbs), I just hope they get rid of the carpet. So many mold issues, especially with the far too common air conditioner leaking issue.
