Hi:
I always shop at the Basin when we go to WDW but we only do carry-on. Does anyone know if I can bring the bath bombs in carry-on? I know about the 3 oz of shampoo & such I just don't want my Basin purchases ending up in the trash.
thanks pgjam

I wondered that myself. I would think the solid "bath bombs" wouldn't be a problem. I also wondered about the nifty soap that is a solid, but sort of soft. I hope someone knows. You could always pay to have your purchases shipped home, and avoid the stress of worrying about it.

I packed several Bath bombs, a pumice stone, bath salts, a shampoo bar (which is sort of soft) and sliced soap from Basin in my carry on yesterday without a problem. I think you will be fine.

Just don't call them by name if asked what they are.

Bath bombs are not liquid, therefore they are not (and never have been) among the restricted items, do not need to fit or be placed in the clear, quart-size zipper bag, and are not banned from the passenger compartment.

On the other hand, bicker's absolutely right! ;)

Dont call them Bath Bombs in an airport though......you could still get in trouble. Call them Bath Ballistics or Solid Bath Salts or something.

If you like Basin check out LUSH www.lush.com there is a store in the Orlando Airport and in the Florida Mall (as well as all over the world).

They are waaaaay better than Basin. They are the original maker of the products that Basin has. Basin actually rips off LUSH alot.
