Yay for an adults only trip!!! You girls are too adorable cheering. Love those pictures. I would be upset also about not really having a dance recital. Even my two year old has a dance costume and is in the recital for her dance class. How can you not have costumes for them.

Right? I really miss our old studio in Terre Haute, IN. They took such great pride in their little dancers. The director KNEW if you got the little girls excited about dancing that they would stick with it. Too bad it's over an hour away from where we currently live. I have seriously thought about driving my oldest back there.

And thanks! I think they are pretty cute. The cheerleaders and dancers love my girls!

Getting caught up again and saw the surprise! I'm so excited that ya'll are going to get an adults only trip to Disney and staying at the Grand Floridian to boot!

I'm SO excited!! This is probably a once in a lifetime trip!

Where has the time gone????

How did this even happen? Sigh. Well, I'm super excited, but I have done ZERO planning lately. I'm anxiously waiting for my Magic Bands to ship- should be sometime next week, right?

I did have a little snafu with a Disney CM over the phone this week. Luckily, it's all taken care of, but I'm still a little troubled over how I was treated. My Travel Agent has my back though. I really don't want to get into the whole thing, but folks- don't let anyone push you around when you know you are right! And my "problem" was really this simple: and was fixed as soon as I got someone with some real Disney Customer service training on the phone! My opinion now is if you don't like the answer you are getting from a CM, just hang up and call again. Because there is ALWAYS someone that is bright and cheery- you just have to find them!

I have GOT to get my stuff ordered for the girls. I'm hoping to have some little hoodie jackets made for them and maybe a shirt or two. I also need to think about buying ME some clothes. I have gained a little more weight and I think I need a few new tshirts. I kept thinking I'd have plenty of time- but GEEZ school is kicking my tail!

Although, it is nice to help out other students and get a few free facials and scalp massages- all the in the name of practice and learning! If you are interested in lower cost facials or perhaps having your hair blown out straight, you should contact your local beauty school! Seriously!! Even if you were bold and wanted color or a perm, you get a much cheaper rate and you get a student who will be judged on how you look with a teacher that is checking every thing they do! If you are going on a date night or have some fun event coming up, check about having an updo, mani/pedi or a hairstyle by a student. My facial was amazing and of course, I didn't pay, because it's one of those you scratch my back, I scratch your back setups. And with this cold winter air we've been having, you know your dry scalp could use a deep conditioning scalp treatment! What are you doing?? GO CALL THEM! LOL

AHHHH!!!!! I'm so excited!!! Brian and I watched the Food Network special they did recently with Jeff Mauro (I think that's his name) and Ultimate Disney World on Destination America this morning - both Brian's idea. I think this house has TWO incredibly excited people

So, you know how I told you we extended our May trip to start on the 3rd at BWI? But that I might book a Value that first night instead to save a little money? I just checked the Disney site - there is no availability at AoA for that night and Pop is $165. I think that would save us about $150. I'm just not sure if it's worth it for the one night. We would have to check-in, unload at least some stuff for just a few hours, get up and drive over the next morning, check-in and unload at BWI...just sounds silly for that much money, right? (And I know BOTH of my countdowns are screwed up in some way because of all the changes we've made. I'm just NOT changing them AGAIN! )

Have you done the check-in process for our trip yet?

EEK!!!

So… Yeah, I feel like the queen of "Let's Change our Plans!" So funny since some parts of the trip are still so up in the air, like will my husband be working that weekend in Nashville?

However, I haven't really liked the idea of driving the whole time I've been planning to do it. I mean, I would do it, but I didn't want to spend that much time in a car if I didn't HAVE to, you know? So, I would stalk the flights. Nothing was getting down to my "savings threshhold" that I had in my head… that is until TODAY.

YUP! WE ARE FLYING TO DISNEY!!!

The perfect price came up and I just couldn't say no. I just couldn't! LOL So, I booked it and now we're flying down on Southwest from Nashville! See, if Corey is going to be working, he will be in Nashville. So, why not book a flight out of Nashville? We have friends there, so even if he isn't at the Tourny (our Basketball teams are pretty hit or miss this season!) we can crash at their house on Friday night OR even just drive straight from our house to Nashville's airport- it's a later flight, so it could work. Parking is $9 a day, but my friend shared a groupon for a parking service with a shuttle for $47 for the week. I'm so happy to have this flight out of the way!

So, yesterday we got a package while I was at school. Corey sent me a text and I knew what it was, but I told him not to open it until we all got home. I showed the box to Cortlyn and said "What do you think this is? Who is it from?" And she read it and said "Disney World- MOM! IT'S OUR MAGIC BANDS!" It was great, of course, after the fact I though… I should have recorded it! LOL Oh well!



And it happened JUST as I expected. Catie saw the bracelets and wanted to wear them! I'm impressed at how secure they feel so far! We'll see how it goes actually wearing them in the parks, but I'm liking them so far. We are getting SO close to the trip! I can't wait to get there!

BTW, have you or are you going to do online check-in? And I forgot to tell you last night, we got our ME stuff a couple of days ago!! Do you still have time to call and give them your info so you can put the tags on your bags?

I'm so glad that the flying worked out. Luckily we have friends and family along the way, so no hotel rooms overnight for us- but I'm glad to save the time in the car! LOL

And my girls are so ready! LOL Catie walked in my room and saw the box where the bands are and said "there dey are! Dissy-Worl!" I have never been more proud!

I have GOT to get clothes out and start planning our packing. Hoping to work that out this weekend. It would be GREAT if I could get mostly packed this weekend. TWO trips?! How exciting!!! And for your sake, I'm SO GLAD you were able to book a flight! Driving makes me twitchy (even just regular errands and stuff at home), so I would never be able to even consider driving. Granted, it helps that I'm single and childless... for that reason, flying for me is almost always cheaper than driving. Blessedly!

And yay for the BOG FP+ score!! I just read a stellar review on someone else's trip report (teekathepony), which makes me so excited to go for dinner!

I am SOOOO far behind and I can't even see myself coming up for air at this point! School is AMAZING, but it is totally kicking my tail!

Corey is on the big work trip, just as I was afraid of! He left today. All his stuff is "packed" in a laundry basket and will go into the suitcase that he currently has, when he comes home… unless he doesn't come home and we end up meeting him in Nashville. See why I didn't let myself make any hard and fast plans for this part of the trip! LOL!!! Let's just hope that the team doesn't make it to playing on Saturday… then we will be dealing with changing a plane ticket! Sigh!

I think I have everything I can planned at this point. Praying that it all works out the way I want it to! No matter what, I will be at Disney next week!

I can't believe you leave in 2 days. I'm behind as well, but we had the nasty stomach virus sweep through our house and finally everyone has fully recovered. Question about the BOG fastpass, did it count as one of your fastpasses?
