Barely Any ADRs 4/6

I got up and was on today right at 6a. We are a party of 6 going to either MK or HS on 4/6 and 4/7 haven't set which park on which day yet. It is the week after Easter but I have never been shut out of ADRs before. The only options all day were Crystal Palace, Brown Derby, Mama Melrose. I just don't understand. ADRs aside, is that evidence that I should be terrified of that week with crowds? Is there a new trick I do not know of to help me land ADRs at Plaza and Sci-Fi?

I'm going that same week and was able to book the ADRs I wanted (only 3, though). But we are a party of 4 and I wonder if being a party of 6 is the issue? With capacity restrictions and fewer tables, maybe there just aren't very many tables for groups of 6? Perhaps try for 4 and 2 just to get something and then either call dining ahead of time or stop at the podium when you get there to see if they can put you together? I'm just tossing ideas out there.... I have heard that Sci-Fi has been particularly difficult to book during Covid. Good luck and let us know if you are able to sort it out!

I was up at 6am Friday as well and had all kinds of problems. I reached out to a friend who’s a TA and she told me the system was down. I tried again at around 7:30 and was able to make a few reservations. The times weren't ideal, but I’ve been able to modify a couple of them. I’ll have to keep working on our Sanaa res, which is currently for 8:20pm.

The system has been very glitchy lately. Sometimes I search for 7pm and there are no or only a couple of reservations, and then I search for 7:30 and a ton more pop up in the 6-8pm range (which should ordinarily show up for either search).

I just booked a trip for that same week (after 60 day mark- bit of a last minute decision). I tried this evening and was unable to book any ADRs for our party of 6 for lunch, dinner, or even breakfast any days except Thursday and Saturday. For those, there were only a couple of restaurants in the Disney springs area which I was not terribly excited about, TBH. Is it really possible that everything is booked solid and/or unable to accommodate a party of 6? Or could it be the glitch mentioned earlier? Maybe a blessing in disguise because it will be cheaper and less risky to just pack a lunch every day and prepare dinner or get takeout in our room most nights. Still, not really what I had envisioned if true.

You have to remember there is limited capacity at all of the TS restaurants due to covid. The table spacing/lower capacity PLUS it being week after Easter in the thick of spring break with heavier crowds likely makes it trickier. More demand for in park TS dining than supply due to limited restaurant capacity and heavier crowds.

Definitely check again, and try app vs website. I was finding tables for 6 just now

Good call. I tried again last night via the app, and there were more choices. Still a bit limited, but probably related to the party size and COVID restrictions. Thanks!
