The first time I went to sci-fi, I was 18... That was 12 years ago.... yikes....
I think I have been there about 6 times. I absolutely love it there....
Although now dbf makes me pick different places

I hope you don't mind, but I am going to respond to your trip report posts as I read them. I just got done reading the Introduction and I am so excited for this report!!! I could just tell immediately that I was going to love it. Maybe it's because you're closer in age to me than most other trip report writers that I have read, but I also know that I am going to love your style.

Warning: I have NEVER been to Disney world .. so to say that I am excited about this trip would be the understatement of a lifetime. (Before I continue I mine as well introduce the cast!)

I think this is exactly the reason why I am going to love this! I'll get to live through you and re-experience my first time in WDW!!

The Story of Us :

Now, if this seems a little too much about us and not enough about Disney - Im sorry.. its crucial so bare with me ! Todd and I have been together for over 3 years. I met him my freshman year in highschool when he was a senior and we have dated ever since...

Now, at first when I read that you were 18 and he was 22, I was hesistant. But then I read your story and I just felt like, "Oh, how cute!" I think that sometimes when older guys are with younger girls, it's bad news bears. But I can just tell by your pre-trip report that this guy is different! I wish you both the best of luck (and magic) in the future!!

Well, I guess I'll leave this reply for now and get on with the trippie! I can't wait!

Now I have NEVER even been in an airport and Todd has only been with his parents, so we were both a little clueless, but we already had our boarding passes. We waited in a pretty long line - me smiling at everyone because I figuered - HEY YOU MUST ALL BE GOING TO DISNEY! even though none of them were! .... I felt like such a little adult at the airport. I know - Im nuts!

You are too cute! I sometimes feel like I live in the airport, I'm there so often. I go to college in Michigan, but I'm from California. And this summer, I worked at Disney and right now I'm living in France. So it was like... Michigan, California, Florida, California, Michigan, California, France! Ay yi yi!!! Maybe I should just become a flight attendant?

Anyway, back to YOU: Pretty pictures... you and Todd are cute! Can't wait for the next installment... YAY!

Downtown Disney is fun... in reading your post, I realize that I haven't spent as much time there as I probably should. I probably haven't gone inside half of the stores!!! I should do that the next time I'm at Disney!

Okay, so I just got done reading ALL of your trip report (so far, anyway) and it was addicting! I'm glad I didn't have to be like the other DIS peeps and have to wait for it because it is so good! But I guess I will have to wait for the next installment! And trust me, I will be waiting!

Wow. This is like my third post today. Can you tell Im a little bored? Just kidding!! Im actually sitting here with rollers in my hair getting ready to go on a double date with my sis, her new boyfriend and of course Todd. We are doing Japanese and pool. Exciting .. i know!

ANYWAYS ..

To answer some of your questions...

Todd and I have another trip in the making for January of 2008 .. which isn't really that far away if you think about it. However, I am dieing to go Disney during Christmas time to see all the lights and excitement and magic .. SO since I'm pretty sure I have a month and a half long winter break from college, I'm hoping that we can REALLY go in December during the SLOW SLOW time .. DEFINITELY nowhere near the hardcore busy time.. like early early december for a week. I think that the eleven days was a little to long .. (no one gasp!) ... i mean obviously I didn't want to leave and as soon as I got home I wanted to be back.. but for like a MONTH after I was "disney-ed OUT!" So hopefully we will be able to move the trip to December, but either way it will be amazing! .. this time I want to go HIGH CLASS and stay at my dream resort - Animal Kingdom Lodge with a Savanna View!! .. we'll see - keep your fingers crossed!!

As for college plans - I will be attending Salem State College in the Fall for Early Childhood Education. I was accepted for their Journalism major but am switching my major. I am also double majors in English because i have ALWAYS wanted to be a writer since I was little and I am actually working on my first novel as we speak. Its coming along really well!

Thats so exciting about the AKL I hope you are able to stay there. Im planning my dream trip for next May when I turn 21. Im taking a disney cruise and I hope to stay a week at the Poly!

Im sure you will love salem state, my friend goes there and she loves it.

Wow 2 updates in one weekend! Good choice about the tattoo, I think I'm one of the only people my age (33) that doesn't have one . I would wait and make sure it's something you want to live with forever. I have been to Disney 6 times total and never took the backlot tour. My DH wants to to though I'm sure the kids will be bored. Did you ride The Great Movie Ride (can't remember from earlier in the trip)? I think it is a one time attraction. Sci Fi looks so cute even though it has mixed reviews.

You really should try to change the jan trip
to dec. It is really amazing at christmas.
MVMCP is a lot of fun and your right the first
few weeks of dec are bearable crowd wise.
My favorite time of year to visit disney is at

Just got through reading what you've posted so far! It's nice to see another young couple enjoying the park.

I'd bummed to find out you didn't enjoy Star Tours though! That's probably one of my favorite rides but that's likely because a.) I've been riding it since I was a child and b.) I'm a Star Wars geek.
