With the great night sleep we had received the previous night, Todd and I woke up ready for a great day at MGM. It was to be a full day at a park with no jumping around so we were looking forward to taking advantage of that!! I think it it so much more relaxing to NOT park hop, so I was happy happy!
It was a little chilly today, so we donned our sweatshirts and were on our way. MGM had an early magic hour today so we got there early and the park was dead. I took some pictures of the scenery.
The first thing we did was run to Rock n Rollercoaster and take a fantastic ride!! I just love that coaster!! After that, we made our way over to Voyage of the Little Mermaid and went on in. I LOVE the Little Mermaid (just bought the anniversary edition DVD!!) so I was excited. I can't say that Todd was because clearly, he wasn't. That didn't matter though, he didn't mind as long as I was happy! (That's my man!) So the show... ehh... I wouldn't rate it highly, but hey! what can you do! After we got out of the show Mr. Incredible was waiting for us with absolutely no line (this is the first of a bajillion pictures you will see of us and Mr. Incredible!) (unless you've already seen one .. which is probable!) Mr. Incredible is SEXY as is Buzz Lightyear - hahahahaha!
After that, I was SO EXCITED because we were ready to go to Beauty and the Beast. Another one of my favorite movies, I relate the most to Belle - "nose stuck in a book" pertains to ME as well as BELLE. I was just PUMPED! We made our way in and got some OKAY seats. They weren't the best, but my camera has a pretty good zoom! OMGOSH I loved it! Although the plot was played with slightly, the costumes and songs were wonderful and I loved it. I also loved the preshow.. a group of janitors singing .. i thought they were great however, now I can't remember their names for the life of me!
Here are some pictures from the fantastic show (I have a million more, but figure I will only show a handful!)

Well .. that was a little more then a handful but I'm sure you didn't mind!!
When Beauty and the Beast was over, we shopped a lot of the stores and meandered around. As we headed over to Backlot Express for a bite to eat, we ran into the Cars. I LOVE Cars and had recently purchased and watched that movie right before we left for Disney. I REALLY wanted to get a picture with them however this "photo-op" is run HORRIBLY. There is no form of a line. Everyone runs wild. If you want to get a picture, there are 18 other people in the shot with you. It was a bummer. Some lady offered to snap a picture of us with Lightning Mcqueen but it came out pretty bad.
Todd led a bummed me (I told you IM FIVE YEARS OLD!! I GET DISAPPOINTED WHEN THINGS DONT GO MY WAY!! hahaha) over to Backlot Express. It had just opened since it was only 11, but we hadn't eaten breakfast that morning and we were pretty famished. We headed in - this place is really cute. The outside atmosphere is nice so we chose to sit out there. The food here was FANTASTIC!
I ordered : a hotdog (I was really craving it and OMG it was AMAZING!) fries, a Dr. pepper, and a fruit and yogurt parfait (which was AMAZING as well - I was so happy and pleasantly surprised by this place!) We would definitely go back here.
Todd ordered: A double cheesburger, fries, a coke, and a marble cheesecake. He loved his food as well and was very satisfied.
It was at this point that I figured I'd break the cardinal rule and amuse myself by feeding the birds. Oh man, I had great fun being rebellious. They were so cute and they would jump right into your hand. Hopefully I didn't contract the "bird flu" but its been a couple months, I'm PROBABLY out of the clear :cough cough: !!
When we were done "chowing down", we headed over to Indiana Jones. We were really early and waited outside for it to start.
It was fine for awhile until the crowd got unbearable and everyone was pushing and being nuts. Here's Todd being grumpy because people are knocking him over!! Oh my little Grumpy Gus!!
When they finally let us in, we got FRONT ROW SEATS! In the dead center. It was amazing. It would have been great to be called to be a volunteer, but we weren't quick enough I guess!! The show was awesome and I really enjoyed Indiana Jones. That's one of the shows that when "Disney trips" are on sitcoms, is ALWAYS on it. It was great to see it and Todd and I both loved it. When the show was over, Todd and I waited in a really short line to get pictures with the cast.
When that was done, mosied around for a bit. We went to the Muppets 3D and then we got Fastpasses for Star Tours. We then headed over to Lights Motion Action Stunt Show. Todd had been waiting for this the whole trip. He loves cars and was very excited to see the show. I was excited to because I heard it was great!
It didn't disappoint! Once again we had FRONT ROW SEATS!! LOVE IT! We were some of the last people there - got the best seats - and got out before everyone else! It was wonderful!
Too many pictures -- must continue to next post!
