Did Woody ever try to get visitation or custody or joint custody through the courts during any time before Dylan turned 18? If he didn't do anything wrong, why not use his money, hire attorneys and go for it?

And if he did and was subsequently denied, that says something too.

Describing Woody Allen as a "self-absorbed, untrustworthy and insensitive" father, a judge in Manhattan yesterday rejected his attempt to win custody of his three children and awarded custody to their mother, Mia Farrow.

In a scathing 33-page decision, Acting Justice Elliott Wilk of State Supreme Court denounced Mr. Allen for carrying on an affair with one of Ms. Farrow's daughters, trying to pit family members against one another and lacking knowledge of the most basic aspects of his children's lives.

The judge also denied Mr. Allen immediate visiting rights with his 7-year-old daughter, Dylan Farrow. Last summer Ms. Farrow accused the 57-year-old film maker of molesting the child. Justice Wilk said it was unlikely that Mr. Allen could be prosecuted for sexual abuse based on the evidence. But while a team of experts concluded that Dylan was not abused, the judge said he found the evidence inconclusive.

Moses Farrow is speaking out now. As a teen, he said Woody molested his sister. As an adult, he says he didn't molest her and that Mia made it all up. He also claims Mia was physically abusive. Wherever the truth lies, it seems like they had a very dysfunctional household for many different reasons.

How could Moses possibly state that Dylan wasn't abused? Was he with Dylan 24/7? Unbelievable.

I don't know why people don't see that as pretty irrelevant? So Mia and Woody weren't married…they were in a long term relationship that produced children. Soon-Yi was his children's SISTER. Soon-Yi was his long term partner's daughter.

Both those things makes it inappropriate.

You don't hook up and have a sexual relationship with your children's sister. You don't hook up and have a sexual relationship with your long term partner's daughter.

Ronan Farrow's father is his brother-in-law. THAT, right there is TOTALLY inappropriate. It doesn't matter how much or little contact he had with Soon-Yi, that he was or wasn't her 'step-father,' what matters is that he completely violated boundaries with no regard to anyone else. "The heart wants what the heart wants."

At best Woody Allen is a seriously personality disordered narcissist and at worst he's a pedophile.

ETA; I need to find the article but there are witness statements from nannies and household personnel who thought he behaved oddly with Dylan. They didn't witness outright molestation or sexual assault but they talk about how he would make her suck his thumb and lay his head in her lap. There are witnesses to that behavior. People may not call that abusive but it is still inappropriate.

Sorry but I find it odd that a 7 year-old would remember whether or not his sister was ever alone with their father on a specific date. Especially when there are 15 kids in the family.I know if I asked one of my kids if "Susie" was alone with Daddy on a particular date they wouldn't have a clue, nor would I.

His statements are by far the typical statements of family members when abuse allegations are made. It is not even a little bit unusual for testimony to come from family members who were in the same room when abuse was going on and were completely unaware, asleep and awake, child and adult witnesses.

What about the information from the staff members about behavior they witnessed?

Moses is 7 years older so Dylan was 7 and Moses was 14 on the day in question

It's still very odd for someone to remember if a child was alone with their own father on a particular day. If we were talking about a stranger or if it was after he had been accused of molestation I could understand paying attention to things like that. But I don't buy for one minute that he knows for a fact that they were never alone.

Moses was a teenager; Dylan was 7. He was also very, very critical of Allen after when Soon-yi/Woody affair became know. Moses was quoted to wishing Woody dead.

This is true. It's hard to imagine that people you know are capable of such. It seems even Mia Farrow is not immune from that. I've read she defended Roman Polanski (who directed her in Rosemary's Baby, I think?) and her own brother who was convicted of sexually abusing 2 boys last year?

More you read about the people involved, more nuts the whole thing gets.

At the time Woody and Mia were separated and this was a one day visit , so that is why he remembered. If you read the other articles shared, it describes this day- also tells of Mia interviewing Dylan on tape over and over until Dylan says what Mia wanted her to say

You do not need to be alone with a child to sexually assault them.
