Wow. You are pushing it.
Once you close, the brokers seem to take a few days, depending on the broker, and then they send it to Orange County, Florida (for most
DVC contracts, but maybe Aulani goes to Hawaii?), and they send it to Disney at the same time. Orange County records it almost immediately. Disney takes a day or two. Then, once Disney receives it and puts it into their system, they take 7 to 14 days (and it has been 14 days, recently, because they say they are loaded with work) and THEN, they put the points into your contract, and notify you, to let you set up a new membership number. If you are NOT getting a new membership number, but merging it with an existing membership and contract, with the exact same names on the deed and the same use year, then it MIGHT get done a bit faster, by Disney. I don’t know.
Ask your broker to please expedite the closing, if possible, and send it quickly to the govt and DVC to be recorded.
After Disney has received it, If you call DVC Member services, and then choose option 2, for administration, then option 1, and give them the Contract Number, they can tell you if they have received it, and, maybe, how long it is going to take. If you tell them your problem, they MIGHT expedite it, but probably not.
At least, this is all how things seemed to work for me, and I have bought several contracts.
