If I purchase a resale without enough points for a trip in Dec because the 2007 points are banked for 2008… is their any way to pull these back in or would I have to pull in 2008 points?

If the current year points are banked and you deicde to take a trip within this use year, you would need to borrow from next year; there is no "unbankiing" of points.

Example:

-Use Year February:
-Bank all 07 points(200pts) on June 30th ('08 pt total: 400 (200 07, 200 08)
-July 1st or later: I decide to travel in Dec 07 for 135 points
-I would need to borrow 135 points form 2008's allotment
-Points remaining on 2007: 0
-Points remaining in 2008: 265 (200 banked 07 pts, 65 08 pts)

You would, however, be able to borrow regular '08 points for a trip in this use year.

If you want to go in December, I would borrow the '08 points for that trip and use the banked '07 points for your '08 trip.
