Banked Points and Booking Window?

Please help me understand how banking points works in relation to booking windows. Let's say I have a 200 point contract for AKV. Can I bank those points, and book BLT next year at the 11-month window using only those banked points? How about if I own points at BLT (even a small 25-point contract)? Could I use the 200 AKV points in conjunction with the BLT points that I own to be able to book at 11-months? Or is it as simple as - I'd have to have enough points at BLT (banked, borrowed, etc.) for my entire trip to book at 11-months?

booking window is determined by home resort - you can book your home resort at 11 months out and other resorts at 7 months out.

your home resort for those 200 pts is AKV. you can book AKV at 11 months with banked AKV pts, current AKV pts or borrowed AKV pts (or even AKV pts that you transfer in from another AKV owner) but ONLY AKV pts.

you can book BLT with AKV pts at the 7 month window.

How about if I own points at BLT (even a small 25-point contract)?

your home resort for those 25 pts is BLT. you can book BLT at 11 months with banked BLT pts, current BLT pts or borrowed BLT pts (or even BLT pts that you transfer in from another BLT owner) but ONLY BLT pts. a 25 pt BLT contract gets you up to 75 pts (banked + current + borrowed) to book BLT at 11 months out every 3rd year.

you can book other resorts with BLT pts at the 7 month window.

Or is it as simple as - I'd have to have enough points at BLT (banked, borrowed, etc.) for my entire trip to book at 11-months?
