Bangs or no bangs (hair)?

I am curious who here has bangs? I still do (I know I know...my hair is so outdated) but I just don't think I would look good without them. But , I have been thinking of trying to grow them out but am not liking the way my forehead looks-LOL

Anyone else decide to grow out there bangs and like it?

I have tried numerous times to grow out my bangs but I have fine, thin hair so it always ends up looking stringy and in my face. Yes, I have bangs. I see many people without bangs that would look MUCH MUCH better with them. Go with what looks best on you and is easiest.

Yep I still have bangs. I've grown them out but I just don't look good without them.

I have long, sweeping bangs now. This is the first time without bangs in my adult life and so far I'm very happy with the results.

I have bangs, but I keep my hair up most the time, so I let mine grow so I could pull them up with the rest of my hair, but they are still shorter if I have my hair down.

I've had bangs most of my adult life, but I'm growing them out. The only reason is that I've developed a cowlick in my bangs and they have started to curl. As soon as I step outside in the humidity, they curl and drive me nuts. I like having bangs though. I just wish my hair would cooperate.

I've had bangs off and on for most of my life, just get them done right if you do decide to get them-bring in a picture of somebody you know who has good bangs.

I think Carmen Electra has had some nice bangs, too. Eh, no pun intended, there!

I think it depends on what kind of hair and face you have, too. I have long straight hair and a high forehead, so the bangs work-softens my face and brings attention to my eyes.

My daughters have long straight hair but have widow's peaks so they look prettier without bangs (I love widow's peaks-they got them from my hubby!)

Me too. I just look better with. Others look better w/o. It's up to you. I spent 1 1/2 years growing them out just to get them back again.

I have long bangs. I hate my forehead so no matter what the style, I'll go with what looks best on me. (It's nice to get older in some ways. I'm going to be the old lady wandering around in a robe and slippers.)

Funny, I have the exact opposite problem. I have long fine straight hair and I look rediculous with bangs. They are so stringy and lay flat on my forehead, no mattter what I do to work with them.

I had bangs for 25 years and finally decided to grow them out and just see if I looked as horrid without as I thought I would! Well, I've been bang free for a year and love it - I had to get used to my forehead, but others have commented on my hairstyle now and that it frames my face better.

It's worth a shot growing it out, you can always cut it later!

I didn't always have bangs but couldn't be without them now. My forehead has too many lines!! The rest of my face is not bad for my age but that forehead is hideous.
