OK, so I tend to be a little chicken when it comes to the really "rough" adventures. I booked the banana boat excursion for DH, 2 DS and myself. I am beginning to get a little nervous. How rough is the ride? Do you wear life jackets? If anybody is going to fall off, it'll be me! It really sounds like fun and I THINK I want to do it. Do I?

The BB's are really alot of fun. We did them at CC this past Feb. on our Magic Cruise.

I believe it was four or five people on each side (front to back). It was bumpy but not terrible. You will get water in your face and eyes (especially) in the front. Each person has a handle to hold and you can also get a good grip with your thighs.

I rode on the back left side of the banana boats and while it was a blast I will not be going again. I fell off twice and and two others fell off once......afterwards my arms were so tired from trying to hold on that i literally could not lift my hand up to take a drink from a cup!! It was alot of fun though and am glad I tried it once.

The Banana Boat ride is a little bit rough. Our whole boat tipped over too! Once in the water, it is VERY, VERY difficult to get back on the Banana ~ you really need strong upper arms. Just a word of warning, although everyone does where a life jacket, if anyone is afraid of the water...I would not recommend it. If you were to ask me if I would do it again... in a HEARTBEAT!!!
