Well I guess the rental popup option lost, huh?

I am the worst when it comes to making lists and getting ready. You'll notice I don't post into those type of threads. :rotfl2: My attitude is if it's not in the camper, I can go into town and get it.

I get a little nervous seeing my name in a thread title. I'm scared to click on it and see if I'm about to get chewed out.

It's sorta like when I:

Had to go see the principal:

which was not an infrequent occurrence in my youth. :rolleyes1

Wow your kids are young. Don't over do it with them. Park in the morning, pool in the afternoon, campfire at night, it might be too much for them. The only thing I would check on is the portable air conditioner you plan to use - does it have a drip pan or some means to handle the condensate? As I recall the Disney tents, which will hold up well in the rain, have a raised lip on the door to step over. Some folks run a hose but that won't work easily in this case. Don't want you to wake up in a puddle!

I don't know a lot about the portable ACs but the one on my popup drips water outside ALL the time it runs.

For the price of the rental on the tent, you can buy a nice tent at a large sporting goods store and have something you can use again and again. Ours was $110.00 5 years ago and has held up well with multiple uses by our kids and friends, it sleeps 5. We set up the tent in the back yard and let the kids "Camp Out" in our own back yard. Or you can sell it on craigs list when you return home. Have fun!
