Baltimore BOT-Fest

Hey guys, guess what? I registered for MCM:thumbsup2.... oh wait, I guess you already know...

note, I "registered" for MCM, in no way is this a binding contract to actually participate in the race, for I may be the Guardian of the Aforementioned Beer.:cheer2:

Dude - don't be all like -she stole my thunder by announcing my registration- :rolleyes:you already announced it a few days ago when you were talking about your whole mug breaking incident...Cindy just didn't see it.

Yeah, like we could trust you. I've got a picture of you (loopy, but very happy), a well used new MCM mug, and a lot of empty bottles.

What? I don't recall that exchange...at the time I had NO intention to sign up, in fact, I already know I won't be running.

Edited to add: BIB FOR SALE!!!!

Jodi~ You could drive to Delaware with Judy & Charlie. I'm driving from here. It's about 2 hours +\- . Or fly into Philly and I'll pick you up and take youfrom here. You have options girlfriend!!!:thumbsup2

Colleen~ I'm excited that you'll be at MCM!!! If you run or not isn't all that critical to the weekend. ;)

Good Morning Bots.

Congrats to all of you who signed up for MCM. With it being on Halloween and all, I just couldn’t get the family approval. I really need to convert my DH into a runner, it would be much easier to talk him into all these destination races. But on the other hand I might have to sit out the races to watch the kids so he could run. Might not work out after all.

Howard: Hope the extra rest helped the knee.

Dave: So sorry to hear about the troubles with your Dad. I hope it gets all worked out soon.

Mike: Still amazed at your fantastic race. Hope you are feeling back to normal again. I cannot believe that someone would run Boston right after running 50 miles on the trails. Seriously hard core.

Jodi: Lots of luck to Bruce this weekend. Keep us updated on his progress.

I continue to suffer through the taper madness. I am imagining all sorts of aches and pains. Yesterday I had a full fledged cold, feeling much better today. I really just want the race to start. I am heading to the Expo on Friday afternoon. I need to buy a jacket and maybe a poster and I should probably get 2 coffee mugs, just in case. I’m planning an easy 5 miler today then that will probably be it for running until Monday morning. If anyone is interested, the marathon is showing on www.universalsports.com. I’ll be wearing my yellow WISH visor, so I’m sure you’ll be able to spot me among the 26,000 other runners. My bib # is 20885 so that might be easier to track on bostonmarathon.org.

Have a great day everyone.
Cindy
