Hi everyone!
Congratulations to all of the Rutger's Race runners (Jen got a PR!! Woo Hoo!!!) and Lou for your Penn Relay time.
I went out on my scheduled 18 miler I held over from yesterday. It went surprisingly well. I took an anti-inflammatory before I left and I believe that helped somewhat with the knee. All these hours later and it is doing well.
Here is the tale of the tape:
Miles: 18.0
Time: 2:59:58
Pace: 10:00
Splits: 9:42, 9:34, 9:35, 8:59, 9:10, 9:36, 8:54, 9:00, 9:46, 9:21, 10:37, 10:51, 8:55, 10:52, 13:41, 10:52, 10:06, and 10:28.
I finished a bit short of my house and had to go an additional .62 miles which I used as a cool down.
I'm not sure what time I'll have this week for running. I'll try to get in one or two runs (5 & 8). I will not be doing any long runs while I'm away on vacation. I may get a few miles in here and there. I plan on golfing twice and doing some swimming (up to the pool bar
).
CindyLou~ Best of luck tomorrow!!! You'll be in my thoughts all morning.
Thank you to all of you that made comments on my Facebook page about my run today.
I'm going to pack for my trip now!
Wish me luck.
Have a great week everyone!

Howard

Go Cindy, go!!

Glad to hear you're feeling fine in the fives.
Not sure how stir crazy I'll be with the mandatory quarantine and I'm sad to have to be away from my family again
Unfortunately, as of today my right vocal chord is still paralyzed and most likely will not improve since I had a tumor dissected off the nerve. While my voice is fine, it does impact my breathing ability so I'm kind of bummed about the possible impact on my endurance ambitions
I am still planning to run/walk WDW in January yet will have to play it by ear once I am able to try daily training. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through y'all for a while longer
and prayers for Radio Active Sara
I did roll around on the foam roller so maybe that helped. I really don't want any hamstring issues. Certainly not this early in the game.
