I would like to know what we can take into the park as far as bags and such. We have a family of 5, so can each of us take a backpack? Do I have to rent a stroller or can I bring one in. How about drinks and snacks?

You can bring as many bags as you want to carry, you just have to have each bag go through the bag check. For the kids, I bet a kid belt bag/fanny pack would do them just fine. You can bring your own stroller. You can also bring in your own drinks and snacks.

I think you'll find that one backpack is more the enough. I don't think there is any need for the entire family to have one, you don't have need to bring a lot into the parks

I thought I'd mention that nothing can be in a glass bottle. Security will take that.

I've found that the less I bring in the parks with me, the smoother it goes. And don't leave anything important like camera or souveniers in your stroller basket when you hit the rides.

When my kids were little, we did one backpack with a few snacks, bandaids and change of clothes, plus I had my cross body purse. We started the day with 2 water bottles and 4 juice boxes for the kids.

That worked very well since we went back to the room for afternoon breaks and could reload the backpack at that time.

Have a great trip. :thumbsup2 And :welcome: to the Disboards.

I try not to take in a lot, but yes you can take in backpacks. If you find that you've taken one and don't need it, they do have lockers for rental. This is the option that I use sometimes.
