Hi There

More questions for you all ;)

What do you ladies do with your handbags? Do you take them with you to the parks? if so where do you store them on the rides?

Also I don't know what buggy is best to take with us, our big double buggy or two single buggies or one buggy with the buggy board! My kids are just 3 and nearly 2, My doubts for the double buggy is that my DS who will sit behind has a limited view but the plus is that if DD wants to get down and walk we only have to push one! With two single buggies the problem would be if DD wants to get down and walk we would have an extra buggy to push too, and for the buggy board DD often doesn't want to stand on it and then wants to be picked up and carried if she gets tired instead of standing on the buggy board!
Any suggestions?

Also if you take a baby bag will this be ok left on the buggy when we are on the rides?

Thanks again for all your help :flower3:

DLRP is an exciting and tiring place for little ones, and at that age I think they'll definitely both need somewhere to sit, and perhaps have a nap too.
Personally I fit all my wordly goods into a backpack and that goes everywhere with us. There is of course some pickpocketing etc even in DLRP so be just as careful there as you would elsewhere.

I took a handbag this trip and found it much easier than the backpack from last trip!

It's small-ish (loaf of bread kinda size) and goes across my body.

I thought it was great as I jsut left it on for all the rides and tucked it down the side of me, meant the safety restrain on faster rides always protected it, and I didn't have to worry about wrapping it round my legs etc!

I dont know about buggies though!

I wouldn't bother with a buggy board as your eldest is bound to want to sit down/take a nap. I think I would take the double buggy- less to cart around at the airport with your luggage! I never bother with a handbag and would just fit what you need into a rucksack, including the children's stuff. HTH.:goodvibes

I also have a cross-body style bag which I use specifically for DLRP - its slightly bigger than the handbag I use at home, but still light enough (even when its got ponchos etc stuffed in it) to feel perfectly comfy wearing it all day. Just like everywhere else you holiday, keep your personal items as secure as you can.

I didn't use a bag this time just put my purse in my inside coat pocket.

I would put all the kids stuff in a rucksack and take it with you on all the rides.

As for buggies I would take 2 individual as they will be easier to push through the shops and crowds.

I also had one of those across the body type bags, not too big (one of those square-ish Kipling ones) but enough to put camera, phone, purse, bits n pieces) and it just stayed with me even on rides. Ermm... except one ride, can't remember which now.. where we had to leave the bags on the platform where you got on the ride, which I wasn't happy about but had to really. Then the not-so-valuable kids' stuff (snacks/wipes/etc) were in a rucksack which was carried by DH.

I wld take the double buggy - at least there'll only be one to push if your DD decides to walk. Your DS will be able to sit at the top then while she's walking?!
