Badminton at WDW

Quick question

I am off to WDW in May/June and staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort.

Does anyone know if there is anywhere you can play badminton onsite?

I have seen some posts saying you can at Boardwalk but looking on the Disney website there is no mention of it. Has it been cancelled?

I've never known there to be anywhere to play badminton at the BWI. Volleyball at BC, Tennis, boating at the YC, but not badminton

Ah ok. Thanks for letting me know. I did read somewhere that it used to be at the Community Halls. Maybe it's not as popular as it once was

If a volleyball net works, you could bring raquets and birdies and play on the beach at Caribbean Beach. They had a volleyball net set up at the Martinique beach closest to food court

That's a pretty good idea. Got a feeling that a volleyball net is quite a bit higher but you never know, it might make it more entertaining.

I was thinking the same thing about the height of the net.....or just bring the raquets and birdies and play on the beach without a net-could be fun!

As a badminton player myself I found it a couple times where playing netless was fun so can do that.
