bad weather in Maine

40 mph and 70 mph gusts.........and it is dark and dreary out too.....rain with this system......so I had to turn off the tv and put on the music.......I AM LISTENING TO OFF KILTER.........what a wonderful day it is in Maine........cake in the oven........Bread in the bread machine (hope it is working right)

Funny, I just posted about the wind gusts on another thread! I hate the roaring outside! I'm also hoping that flights won't be affected coming into Boston tonight. Our daughter is flying in later this evening.

lilac trees are bending in front of the house........of course now the dog wants to go potty......and I just danced to marymac with off kilter.....I AM POOPED>.....hope that the planes fly in and land safely.......Portland is pretty good for landing and if they can't they will make them go elsewhere....hugs

Daughter is flying into Logan. I'm not sure if that area is getting the wind gusts that Maine is.

We have always had good landings at the Portland Jetport, until last week. Our plane had a malfunction of the wing flaps and we couldn't land in Portland because the runway wasn't long enough for the increased speed the plane would have to land at. We ended up making an emergency landing at Logan. Scary!

Hold onto your doggy when you take him outside!! It's howling out there!
