Bad restaurant experience -- how long to return?

I said never, and I was thinking of Cap'n Jacks. Got sick from the rare tuna on the first night of a trip 4 years ago. It ruined all 4 days of my vacation.

We didn't really "not like" anyplace that we went in Dec. But we would certainly expect the same service etc we get here at home. There are several restuarants that we do not go to for lack of service, cleanliness. But a rude server I usually try to remedy that meal and return to try again with someone else. If it happens again..off the list. Figure at that point their training is suspect.

That being said the one place that we probably will not be going back to this trip is Cosmic Rays. The kids loved it, I did not. I thought the food was poor and the whole waiting in 4 different lines hard to do. But, it was counter service so I imagine at some point in the next trip we will end up there.

We had horrible food and servie at Tony's, 50's Prime Time, and Sci-Fi in 1998 and we have never returned! This year we had horrible food at H&V and I won't return! I am totally tuned off by the food at MGM!

I clicked 1-3 years. We had a bad experiance at Tony's Town Square. We always loved it there but the last time we were there the food was not really that good. We had a large party with us and everyone was of the same opinion. We all had been there many times. Well, it's been a couple of years now, so we are planning on going back. We really love the atmosphere in there and miss going there. We used to love their breakfasts when they had them. Wish they would do that again.

For me, it was Coral Reef in Epcot. The food, the service, the prices were just awful. I don't mind paying for good food - but it was so, so bad I will not return.

We go back only if we hear things have changed. For instance, we didn't care for Spoodles but they have a new chef who supposedly has turned things around. We'll try it again the next time we're there.
