...now this afternoon Glasgow Airport is being evacuated because someone's driven a flaming car into it



Plus for those not in the immediate "line of fire", they're all getting flooded out because it's been raining constantly for three weeks with severe heavy rain predicted over the weekend.

I'm glad to hear the 2 car bombing attempts were stopped. Sorry to hear about the other car though. It's hard and worrysome not to know where the next nut-job is lurking and where/when they'll strike next. makes me think back to the IRA bombings years back. What painful times those were. Stay safe

He means give up some of our freedom or opinions etc...Terriosts have been around in the UK for years i don't think anyone giving up their freedom will sort that out, these people are out to kill they dont care what people think. There not sure at the moment if it's a terriost act and several people were arrested at the scene.

Judgemental much? Given that today is Gay Pride day in London, I wouldn't be surprised if those involved in the attacks had issues with homosexuality - and that is NOT exclusive to one religion.

FYI, PD, they have and they're also fighting them over there (Iraq), so they don't have to fight them in the UK.

Whatever their government has been doing has been a dismal failure. And it's going to come over here because Bush is the flip side of that failure.

Btw, giving up your liberties doesn't make yous safer. It didn't work in Nazi Germany, or the Iron Curtain, or Saudi Arabia.

THe British have been through far worse than this, and they've come out stronger by not giving in to the fear. Too bad too many in this country are afraid of their own shadows.

When you're right, you're right Many times I disagree with you, but I think you're right on the money with this and it's one of the big problems I have with the Bush Administration.
